I’m still pretty busy, but I should have more free time starting the next week. And good, because Yuletide singups are open, and I really should finish my letter. And maybe try to shorten it a little? Because it already has 1400 words divided between five fandoms. But I think one of those fandoms definitely needs more words, not less. And I’m deliberating now if I want to add the sixth fandom. And I have to sort my offers, too.

And here have a few recs, and other good news, so I can clean up my bookmarks a little.

Love in the Big City

It’s a kdrama based on the novel by Park Sang Young. It premiers on October 21. Don’t know if it will be available legally for international audiences, since there is no news about it being on any of usual streaming services yet. But I plan to watch it anyway. I'm sure there will be some way to do that. 😊

Pluto

It’s GMMTV’s GL drama with Namtan and Film. And it looks good. And a bit like a female version of Not Me. It starts airing on October 19. I can’t wait.

We did a book club on Tumblr for Love in the Big City, so we're going to watch the drama too. And someone has already seen the movie (unrelated to the drama), but as it was expected, the movie was not very close to the book.

From what I've read the movie only covers the first part of the book (like one-fourth I think?). So the drama is more faithful. For now I have quite big expectations when it comes to the drama. I hope they will be met. :)

Me, too. I don't know why but I have been thinking they were still filming. So that trailer, and the premiere date, was a very nice surprise for me. :)

I didn't do any exchanges this year for many different reasons, and I miss it a little bit. And there are already requests (and more than one, yay) that I could write for. And of course it would be nice to see you there if you feel like you're up to it. :)

I want to be up for it. It's basically the big celebration of the year for us small fandom types but I'm not writing anything right now so... yeah.

I think I might try to write something this weekend and see how it goes.

I will be here, encouraging you to sign up, but gently. :) I like Yuletide - the massive size of it means that there is always something for me to read on reveals day. And since my fandoms are usually tiny, in this exchange I can always be sure that I will have someone to write for.

As for ULS - if you have troubles with going through the main couple scenes someone made Dong Hee & Ho Tae cut lately. It has only 69 minutes and it's here on bilibili. Maybe you'd like to watch that first? :)

I ended up liking the main couple, but I didn't really get invested in them till about ep 6, once Won Young caught a clue.

Ah yes, such obliviousness can be annoying. I don't mind it that much, although it's not my favorite trope, either.
