What I did during Easter Holiday

I ate a lot of yummy food, of course. I drank a bit too much of a delicious red wine. I breathed in the fresh country air. The internet connection in the country was spotty, but I managed to watch a few things.


I watched 2 subbed episodes of Detective L (and I see the next two are subbed already, yay). They were great. Bai Yu looks amazing and is wonderful as always. The other main character Qin Xiao Man is wonderful, too. I really enjoyed their interactions. And the drama looks gorgeous – the sets, the clothes, everything. It was such a pleasure to watch.


I also watched episodes 2 and 3 of HIStory 3 Trapped. The subbed version (both episodes in one vid) is here on facebook.

Spoilers behind the cut

It starts to get more and more romantic for the main couple. In episode 3 they got kidnapped and handcuffed together by Tang Yi’s rival gangster. Then they communicate without words, with just a few looks, and manage to escape. And Shao Fei gets injured while defending Tang Yi. And then they have A Moment while hiding from the kidnappers in the woods. :)

Seriously, seeing all those tropes on screen brings me so much joy.
