I miss winter. There were maybe 2 – 3 days when the temperature was below zero and there was a little bit of snow. Now it’s around +6 and not even a one snowflake in sight. And it often rains. :(

Work is again a source of too much stress. But the begging of the year is always like that at my work, February should be normal again.


But things look much better on the fannish front.

Bai Yu’s new show Fairyland Lovers started airing and I want to check at least the first episode this weekend.


People in history3_trapped comm are doing a re-watch and all those posts make me want to watch History 3 Trapped again, too. And I probably will as soon as I’m done with MODC re-watch. My MODC re-watch is my first proper watch so to speak, because this time I don’t fast-forward. It made me appreciate some other things besides Sun Bo Xiang/Lu Zhi Gang. :)

As you can see History 3 Make Our Days Count is still my main obsession and that’s all I want to write right now. My first Sun Bo Xiang/Lu Zhi Gang fic is in beta, the second is finished, it’s just need more editing to make it presentable. And I started the third one on Wednesday. It’s so nice to have so much inspiration. :D

I got two fics again.

there is a space is an absolutely perfect Jack/Zhao Zi fic about what happened after the kiss on the stairs in episode 19, with a lot of feelings and emotions and more wonderful kisses. I love it very much.

By Any Other Name is a sweet and lovely Chu Shuzhi/Guo Changcheng fic. It’s a canon divergence fic where Chu Nianzhi is alive and well and he likes to tease his brother about his feelings. :)


And my recip left me a long, wonderful comment already. And there are so many other fics that I want to read. So I’ll go do that now. :D

RL is challenging lately. Work is exhausting and I keep worrying about my family for many different reasons. Thankfully my two main fandoms right now, Guardian and History 3, keep bringing me a lot of joy. There is always something to cheer me up.

Today I re-read Lost in Translation by spinningthreads and All the Colours of the World by china_shop. Both these fics are so funny and heart-warming and did the cheering-up job beautifully. :)

I also decided to make a list of my favorite History 3 tumblr ficlets that were never posted on AO3, so I have all the links in one place.

So that’s it for now. There is a novel, which just came out in Taiwan and apparently some kind souls will translate it into English. Stebeee on tumblr wrote about some plot points from the novel’s epilogue here.

It sounds great and I wish I could just buy the book in English. I would love to buy DVD, too, when it comes out, but I don’t think English subtitles would be available.

So yeah, I died and went to heaven. :D Proper reaction tomorrow after watching the subbed version of episode 19, for now just squee because that was wonderful, perfect and beautiful 35 minutes. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Everything was wonderful, but Zhao Zi/Jack content was the best. They have two fantastic perfect kisses – 7 big pics behind the cut.

I knew this episode wouldn’t be longer than 15 minutes, since episode 17 was 35 minutes long. But despite so little time there was so much delicious angst here.

So, I didn’t die, because there was no bed scene and no kiss in this episode, which was only 15 minutes long. And I was so delighted that the episode 15 was 35 minutes long. I naively thought that it meant that those last episodes all would be longer than 20 minutes. Ah, well....

2. This Jack/Zhao Zi AU fic - Absolutely Nothing Goes Wrong by taropearlmilktea. It’s hilarious and it made me smile after my sucky morning.


3. Upcoming 520 Day Guardian Exchange reveals – 34 new works, yay. Also I shook my gift and I can’t wait to read it.


4. I have 300 kudos total on AO3. Woohoo! For me each kudos is a comment saying “I liked it.” I wouldn’t even dream about receiving so many comments back in mailing lists days or LiveJournal days. :DDD


5. I cleaned up my old X Files fics that were imported to AO3 after Down in the Basement archive closed down. They have proper tags now and they are not archive locked anymore. I also corrected a few punctuations errors. I deliberated about deleting one of the fics (you know, it was written 18 years ago, and now it seems maybe not so good to me), but it was the one that someone bookmarked already. And it made me smile that someone managed to find this old fic and liked it enough to bookmark it. I mean, I choose to believe that is the reason they bookmarked it. :) Also when I posted my last Guardian fic I wrote in the notes that this was the most explicit fic I’ve ever written. And no, it really isn’t. Some of my X Files fic are much more explicit. I kinda forgot that? ;)
