Happy things
I had a bad day at work today. Not because of something I did, because of incompetence of other people making my life so much harder. >:(
Anyway here is a list of a few happy things to cheer myself up.
1. Episode 12 of History 3 Trapped
It was great and I loved it.
I watched it raw yesterday, because I read about Jack/Zhao Zi kiss and I got too impatient to wait for subtitles. Predictably, I loved the kiss and have watched it more than once already. Jack is all ‘I’m attracted to you, let’s kiss’ and Zhao Zi is so surprised, sweet baby. ♥
Tang Yi and Meng Shao Fei’s scenes were wonderful, too. With all those soft, sensuous touches in slow motion. Very beautiful. And thankfully perfectly understandable even without understanding what they were talking about. :)
2. This Jack/Zhao Zi AU fic - Absolutely Nothing Goes Wrong by taropearlmilktea. It’s hilarious and it made me smile after my sucky morning.
3. Upcoming 520 Day Guardian Exchange reveals – 34 new works, yay. Also I shook my gift and I can’t wait to read it.
4. I have 300 kudos total on AO3. Woohoo! For me each kudos is a comment saying “I liked it.” I wouldn’t even dream about receiving so many comments back in mailing lists days or LiveJournal days. :DDD
5. I cleaned up my old X Files fics that were imported to AO3 after Down in the Basement archive closed down. They have proper tags now and they are not archive locked anymore. I also corrected a few punctuations errors. I deliberated about deleting one of the fics (you know, it was written 18 years ago, and now it seems maybe not so good to me), but it was the one that someone bookmarked already. And it made me smile that someone managed to find this old fic and liked it enough to bookmark it. I mean, I choose to believe that is the reason they bookmarked it. :) Also when I posted my last Guardian fic I wrote in the notes that this was the most explicit fic I’ve ever written. And no, it really isn’t. Some of my X Files fic are much more explicit. I kinda forgot that? ;)
