I can't recommend it. It shows its age. You may have seen some scenes from when I watched and reviewed it. Ack!
The Japanese version reminds me a lot of English farce... just not as funny and the whole thing gets stolen by a master performance in farce by a greatly admired older Japanese actor.
I suspect the Thai version would be good in that they'd probably just keep the basic plot line and leave out the farce.
