And let me tell you that I’m super glad that Scott and Kip keep getting new fans thanks to the show. I remember looking at fics on AO3 tagged with Kip Grady/Scott Hunter, after I finished reading their book and before the 3rd episode aired. And there were only 23 fics then. Now there are over 130 fics. I can even be a little bit choosy with my fanfic reading. 😊

My one Yuletide treat is finished, edited and sent for beta-reading. And that’s it when it comes to Yuletide treats from me this year. Because, and this is that one not so good thing, my right elbow started hurting a lot again.

Speaking of Yuletide - my gift appeared a few days ago, and I shook it. And I can’t wait to read it. Just ten days. But I have to say that for me it’s a bit of a pity that they moved works reveal from morning on 25th to evening on 24th. Usually it was around 10 am on 25th here, and at that time I could sit down and read my gift with no interruptions, and write a proper, enthusiastic comment instantly. Now it’s around 10 pm on 24th. I will probably be able to read my gift right away. But commenting, and reading other fics, will have to wait till the next day. I usually go to sleep around 10:30 p.m., and at this time a night I certainly don’t have enough mental power for reading and commenting on fanfic, just enough for watching fluffy dramas. 😊


Another good thing is news that Thai BL drama Mandate is coming to Gagaoolala. It starts airing there on December 19th. I hope it means that more people will watch it, since it will be more easily available than before. It’s such a good drama, I wish it had a bit bigger fandom.


Dramas I chose to watch lately are good, too. Especially The Price of Confession. I’m so enthralled by this drama that I barely watched anything else the last few days. I’m especially in love with Kim Go Eun, who is absolutely amazing and beautiful, and perfect. I still have an episode and a half to watch, which I plan to do tomorrow. I will write a longer post with a lot of gushing after I watch all of it. And if my poor elbow will let me.


Burnout Syndrome episode 3

Koh still annoys me a lot. And they gave him a sob story about his parents’ bankruptcy. And I don’t care, still don’t like him.

And, like I’ve said, there is a lot of red color on Pheem, too.

“Would you say it’s weird of me if I said I want his life to be even more fucked up, just so he keeps coming back to me?

Wow, Pheem, you’re not just weird, you’re fucked up and you’re an asshole. But I guess that’s why Mr “I find red flags exciting” Jira likes him. Even though for now it looks like that infatuation goes only one way, since yes, Pheem is down bad, as he himself admits. But Jira only goes to Pheem when he can’t get what he wants from Koh, and he wants a distraction.

But ahhh that interrupted make out... That brief kiss, and Pheem’s hand so high on Jira’s thigh...

That was so fricking hot, and I want more. 😍

My Yuletide assignment fic is already posted. I have 1500 words of a treat written, too, so there’s a good chance I will manage to finish it and have it beta-read before works reveal. And in between writing my Yuletide fics I also managed to finish a filthy Big Dragon PWP I started writing a year ago. It’s in beta-reading right now and I hope to post it the next week.


ClaireBell

Episode 5 was, again, very good.

A bit more with minor spoilers here.

I loved Claire and Bell’s honeymoon phase. But it also filled me with dread, because I know what that means – a lot of angst and drama in the next episode for sure. 😊 And I think things will get much worse for Dao, too.

Burnout Syndrome

Episodes 1 and 2 were excellent and it made me very happy. But wow, I’m getting a serious case of second lead syndrome with this drama. Especially since Koh is a very unlikable asshole right now in a very realistic way.

I really don’t care about a possible redemption of a ruthless and filthy rich pro-AI tech bro. I don’t want him to get together with Jira. Heh, I’m getting flashbacks to Theory of Love and my hatred of Khai here. I wonder if I’ll change my mind about Koh later.

Of course there is definitely some red color under Pheem’s very nice and soft surface, too. He’s gorgeous and super hot, true. But he seems really passive for now. He claims to be very unhappy in his current situation at work, at the same time also saying he can't change anything about it. And it sounds like such a weak excuse.

Also I’m very impressed with Gun’s ability to have chemistry with literally everyone. In this drama I don’t mean just Dew and Off, but Thor, too.

And yay they did let Gun and Dew kiss. It was a short kiss at the end of the 2nd episode, but I’ll take it. And hope for more later. 😊

Heated Rivalry

Well, ok, this show is getting its own tag, too. Because episode 3 exceeded my expectation. I loved it so much. Francois Arnoud is fantastic as Scott, hot and gorgeous and charismatic as hell. Robbie G.K. is great as Kip, too. They have nice chemistry, and their NC scenes are fire.

For me they did a good job with showing in such a short time the whole development of Scott and Kip’s relationship, and that staying in the closet takes a toll on Scott, and why he behaves the way he does. And I loved how the showed the contrast between Kip who has supportive friends and a great, loving relationship with his dad, and Scott who is basically alone all the time, before he gets together with Kip.

And they left out their public kiss and Scott’s coming out for one of the next episodes. This is what Francois Arnaud said in one interview:

"What changes the game for Shane and Ilya happens later in the season, and I would say that the emotional climax of the season involves all of these characters, and the stories are intimately connected," Arnaud says before quickly clarifying: "It's not a foursome!"

Heh, I love that he felt the need to clarify that.

It took place yesterday. I watched only the 1st hour live, and then I had to go for my physiotherapy session. But I wouldn’t be watching all of it in one sitting anyway. It lasted five hours.

And no way I’m making a post with 37 trailers (8 GL + 24 BL + 5 Het & Bromance) in it. Especially since quite a lot of them were pretty underwhelming. So instead here are 17 trailers that caught my attention.

Lovers & Gangsters

BL with two main couples - ForceBook my beloveds, and Great with his new partner Bright. And it looks amazing. Loud, entertaining, a bit cheesy, sexy and fun. Someone called it a period gangster lakorn, and I think it fits. 😊 I’m still not sure what period it is – the sixties, the seventies?

The plot is something like this: Force and Great are leaders of two rival gangs. Force also killed Great’s father, or at least that’s what Great thinks. Bookie is Great’s younger brother and for some reason (maybe revenge) he joins Force’s gang, and of course falls in love with him.

Billionaire Biker

My other beloveds AouBoom finally as the sole lead couple in a BL drama. In a romcom this time, with a rich boy/poor boy romance. And it’s also an employer/employee romance.

Aou is a handsome and cool (and thankfully not an asshole at all) Vice President of a company which sweet and naïve newbie Boom starts working at. And this time Aou’s character is the older one and he’s called Phi. Aww... Actually aww for the whole trailer, because it looks lovely and soft, and so adorably fluffy.

GL drama with EmiBonnie in a romance between a singer and a bar owner that starts with an one night stand, and then transforms into a sugar baby arrangement. Of course very soon they start catching feelings for real. Enter Film as Emi’s evil ex-girlfriend to cause troubles for their budding relationship.

It looks sexy and hot, and messy, and I’m so in.

Enemies with Benefits

GL drama with a new pairing: Jan (whom I loved in The Warp Effect and Cherry Magic) and unknow to me JingJing. But wow, great chemistry and great kissing, girls. 😊

It’s an office romance about enemies at work (the head of accounting team and the head of sales team), who have a drunken one night stand, and decide to become friends with benefits. It turns into a real love of course. And there is Kapook and Ciize as the secondary pairing. And they look great together.

Mr. Kill

Thriller + bromance. I’m saying bromance, because it was presented during the “Het & Bromance” section. But there are a lot of BL tropes here, and judging just by the trailer it would be hard to say if it’s DewTee or Dew & Tee. But I’m interested either way, because I like Dew a lot since I saw him in Leap Day.

It’s about a police officer (Tee) and a manga writer (Dew), who start working together when a serial killer starts killing people the same way a character from Dew’s manga did.

Gunshot

OffGun in a dark drama about revenge. And maybe about a healing power of love? But it also might not have a happy ending? Because wow, this drama looks very dark and grim.

Gun’s lover (played by Fluke Jeeratch) was raped and killed, and Gun was forced to witness it. And now he wants to take revenge on people’s responsible by killing cruelly all of them. Off is a police officer, and Gun’s new lover, who wants to stop Gun from doing that.

And another wow for Ohm Pawat as a psychopathic villain. He’s a great actor, I can’t wait to see him be all cruel and evil.

WinnySantang in another rich boy/poor boy romance. Winny is the rich boy this time, and he’s not only rich but he’s the heir of a powerful mafia family. And Santang is a poor guy, whom Winny hires to be his fake boyfriend, because he doesn’t want to date the guy his father chose for him. And Little Ohm is a villain this time. And he looks good while being all smirking and evil.

PondPhuwin, TayNew and JossGawin in one drama.

Pond, Tay and Joss are friends who are hot, rich and successful. But then they all lose their comfortable former lives. Pond is an airplane captain, who gets falsely accused of smuggling. Tay is a doctor, who makes a mistake and has a patient die during the operation, and he gets his license revoked. Joss is a racer, who suddenly starts losing after 8 years of winning, and he loses the title of the champion to his rival.

Thanks to a mysterious clock which can turn back time they go back in time to fix what went wrong with their lives. But not everything might go smoothly this time, too.

Roommate Chaos

MarkOhm, SaveFranc and SurfJava in university BL with opposites attract theme. Looks like a sweet piece of fluff. I liked SaveFranc in My Magic Prophecy a lot, so it will be nice to see them in another drama. And I hope this drama will be a better fit for MarkOhm than Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist was.

Cupid’s Ghost

EarthMix as leads with OhmPoon (Ohm here is Ohm Thitiwat) as the secondary couple.

Mix is a florist who can see ghosts, Earth is an owner of a funeral home, who wants Mix to work for him. The ghost of Earth’s dead brother serves as their matchmaker. Looks cute and mostly fluffy, with maybe a few heartbreaking moments.

JimmySea in a BL drama directed by Jojo. Sea is the singer who has to go into the witness protection program and Jimmy is a policeman assigned to protect him. And in this drama a gorgeous cruel villain is played by Dunk. He’s a gangster who wants to have the singer killed.

JoongDunk as leads in a BL drama about a cold CEO with hidden trauma, and a cheerful intern who brightens his life. Nothing original, I’ve seen it before, more than once. But I might watch this one, too. Hopefully it will be cute and funny.

Also there are AJ and JJ in the same drama, playing twins of course, and that’s always nice to see. 😊

17th Spring

High school BL with ChokunAston, and with PoddPapang again as the secondary couple. This time Papang is a teacher, and Podd is Aston’s uncle. If I’ll watch this drama it will be mainly for them. But I like ChokunAston, too. I’m hesitant because their storyline looks kinda heavy, with Chokun’s character being HIV positive. But it looks like it has a happy ending, so we’ll see.

When Oranges Fall

Another high school BL with AlmondProgress as leads, about a boy named Ko who becomes friends, and slowly falls in love, with his new neighbor, who is also a new student in his class. And that boy is also named Ko.

It has KenPaul as a secondary couple, and I like them a lot. And it’s directed by New Siwaj, and I tend to like his dramas, so that’s why I might watch it.

Twenty One

JuniorMark in a romcom BL about a bouncer and a singer working at the same bar. They are both heartbroken after being rejected by the same guy (who’s played by Great, so no wonder they are both smitten with him 😊). And they go from coworkers bonding over an identical heartbreak, to friends and roommates, and finally to lovers.

Surf 'n' Love

Ohm Pawat, Est and Parn in a het love triangle taking place in surfers community. I like Ohm and Parn a lot. And yes, it’s obvious who gets the girl, because Est is clearly playing the second male lead here. But they all have chemistry with each other, so if I’ll watch this drama it will be mainly for delightful M/M/F threesome subtext. 😊

ClaireBell

Oh, wow... Episode 3 was amazing. It also made me cry a lot.

Everything that happened with Pa’Porn was heartbreaking. I guessed that her son had been probably dead while watching the 2nd episode. But the whole backstory of someone killing him and Pa in retaliation running over that person with her car and ending up in jail broke me. I lost it when she started telling Claire in that frail, broken voice about her son. And then her death... I expected pain and heartbreak from this drama, and this episode brought a lot of it.

And with all that happening I really needed those few sweet moments between Claire and Bell. And their first kiss was lovely. Ok, it might be that Bell is doing it partially because she wants to have Claire’s protection. But she feels something, too already IMO. It’s not all just cold calculation on her part.

And wow, Kae is going to lose it after she’ll find out about Claire and Bell, isn’t she? And she will probably turn against Bell completely.

Typhoon Family

I’m a bit disappointed after last week episodes, because it is getting repetitive. But don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy it and there are enough good things to make up for that mild disappointment.

Spoilers here, too.

I’m getting tired with the whole cycle of “Tae Poong finds another opportunity to save his company, the villains (who are super boring BTW) do something to thwart him, at the last minute Tae Poong finds the solution and succeeds anyway”, rinse and repeat. The same formula repeated every two episodes. But all the relationships, romantic and non-romantic, are lovely and wonderful, and interesting. And here I’m very invested. So I will definitely watch it till the end. Also because of Junho, who is amazing here, seriously. I’m very impressed with him and with Kim Min Ha. They are both great.

I was also very impressed that Nam Mo stood up to his mother and defended his girlfriend so fiercely. I was sure they would do something like Mi Ho never saying anything to Nam Mo, and maybe even breaking up with him. Or when Nam Mo found out right away, I was sure that he wouldn’t do anything anyway. That he would never dare to criticize his mom, whom he loves so much. But he did. And I love him for that.

Me and Thee

I watched the 1st episode and it was fine, I guess. I did laugh a few times, but I think this one is not for me, unfortunately. I will give them an episode or two more, but only because I love Pond and Phuwin. And then we’ll see. I have too many new dramas on my to-watch list to watch something I’m feeling pretty meh about.


As for trailers I have only one to share right now – for Force and Book’s new BL drama Melody of Secrets. It starts airing on December 5 and I can’t wait.



As for fanfic – I finished editing my Yuletide fic, yay me. 😊 It’s already sent for beta-reading. I have an idea for one treat, but I need to do a bit of canon review first.

The 2nd episode was wonderful. I’m really so glad that I started it, even though it still makes me very tense during watching. But wow, what a great script, and great directing, and fantastic acting. And I’m not talking only about the two leads. There are so many wonderful supporting characters here. And the antagonists are nuanced and well written, especially Dao. What an amazing character, I love her the most after Claire, who is my absolute favorite.

Moon River

It’s a new sageuk about the Crown Prince who lost his beloved Crown Princess five years ago, and dedicated his life to finding and punishing people responsible for her death. And now by chance he meets a woman, who is the saddle-carrying merchant with no memory of her past, and who looks exactly like his dead wife. Also apparently there will be bodyswap later.

I watched the first two episodes available for now, and I like it a lot. It’s charming and funny and sweet, and occasionally heartbreaking. I love both the lead couple and the secondary couple. There are no unnecessary love triangles (and I hope it will stay that way). And there are so many fantastic supporting characters.

This drama will have 14 episodes and it’s available on VIKI.


My Secret Vampire and The Story of Bi Hyeong: Enchanted Master of the Goblin

If you like supernatural BL dramas more on the fluffy side, then these two Koren BLs are fluffy, adorable and have a happy ending. They have a somewhat similar plot, too. In the first one a sweet, naïve young man starts living in a house with four vampires. In the second one a sweet, naïve young man starts living in a house with two dokkaebi. And there is also a seductive and cunning gumiho involved.

My Secret Vampire has 8 episodes, The Story of Bi Hyeong has 12 episodes. Both dramas are available on iQIYI.


Last, but not least, this trailer for the Japanese BL movie 10 Dance looks amazing – gorgeous and sensuous, and sexy.


It’s about two dancers, who are champions in two different kind of dances – one in Latin dances, and the other in ballroom dancing. They are also polar opposites in terms of personality, but they agree to train together for an upcoming competition. At first they clash of course, but soon they become drawn to each other. And one of the leads is played by Machida Keita (Kurosawa from Cherry Magic).

It will air on Netflix, on December 18.

I recovered. More or less. I’m still coughing from time to time and I’m getting tired so quickly. But mostly I’m fine. But of course, since it’s covid, now my mom is sick. It was inevitable that she would catch it from me, since we live together. She’s also vaccinated so it’s not as horrible as it was the first time, but still I’m so worried.

On a fanfic writing front I started a canon re-watch needed for writing my Yuletide assignment. But of course my brain decided that this is the best time to say: ‘but what if you wrote two fics for your newest obsession instead?’ And yep, that’s what I did. I wrote two contrasting fics for Mandate – one E-rated porn with feelings, and one G-rated fluffy hurt/comfort. They are both in beta-reading right now.

And after I got that out of my system I even managed to write 300 words of my Yuletide assignment. I have only a vague idea what I want to write next, but still, progress, yay. 😊


As for drama watching – I still enjoy Typhoon Family a lot, even though the big part of the last episode was not that enjoyable to watch because of period typical sexism thrown at the female lead. I could do without so much of that, but hopefully it will be toned down in the next episodes. I get that it’s the nineties, and it’s realistic, but right now I need escapism, and not this.

Also, against my better judgment I started watching ClaireBell, that Thai GL drama I wrote about in my last post. I’m saying ‘against my better judgment’ because it makes me so tense while watching. But also I’m glad I started it, because it’s good. Two newbie actresses in lead parts are both great, especially the one playing Claire. Very high production values, too. And the script is also good.


And, as always, have a few new trailers I bookmarked lately. Behind the cut there are embedded trailers for three BL dramas.

Me and Thee - GMMTV’s new drama with PondPhuwin, about a romance between a photographer and a ruthless gangster with a secret dorky side. Looks entertaining, funny and sweet. It starts airing on November 15.

Tide of Love - a Korean BL drama about a romance between a cold rich boy with a hidden trauma and a cheerful art student, with two actors from Sweetheart Service. And wow, it’s Korea doing BDSM BL, quite explicit one by the looks of it. I’m intrigued. It also starts airing on November 15.

Be My Player Two - a love story between an experienced streamer and a rookie gamer in the world of online gaming. This is a prequel to A Boss And A Babe, with two secondary characters from ABAAB Thee and Zo being the main characters here. And as much as I loved Fluke and Ohm as Thee and Zo in ABAAB, I also like Maxky and Bas a lot. They are decent actors and have great chemistry, and I hope I’ll like this drama, since their previous one (Fourever You) was a big disappointment for me. But this one is a pilot trailer from WeTV lineup for 2026, so no idea when it will air.

Or maybe Su Yin was the one who introduced them and then really regrated it later. 😊 Or Xiaobao met Huaien by chance, mistook him for a beautiful woman like in the drama, promised to marry her and only her, and then Su Yin had to explain to him that yeah, that is the crown prince and not a beautiful fairy met in the woods.

I love Outsider POV fics. If you’ll go with Xiaobao/Huaien & Su Yin, then a look at Xiaobao and Huaien’s relationship through Su Yin’s eyes would be fantastic. For the threesome there are so many potential POVs to choose from and I would adore fic with every one of them: the Shadows, Jinbao, Zhaocai, Li Gongxiang, Xiaoyu, Que Siming, Xiaobao’s mother.

Affair

Wan, Pleng

I love them both so much. Wan, with her intense obsessive and possessive love. And Pleng with her passion and sweetness, and her inability to recognize her own feelings, and her bad choices and her hard life after she lost everything.

And please, no Ekk bashing. He was a flawed person, but I kinda liked him. And I hope he will be happy with that cute doctor he met in the last episode. 😊

I love that Wan calls Pleng ‘Khun Pleng’ even after their marriage. And I would love a fic about Pleng trying to convince Wan to call her just Pleng.

A lot of post-canon fluff and cuteness in their married life is wonderful, too.

I would absolutely love canon divergence AU where Wan found Pleng earlier and they didn’t have to wait 13 years to find happiness together again. Or where Pleng found Wan. After all Wan says that she married Ekk, because she hoped Pleng would hear about it and it would make Pleng come back to her. I would love AU when Pleng did just that.

And a fic about the rest of Wan’s “punishment” from episode 8 would be very welcomed.

Or a crossover with Perfect 10 Liners, with Wan treating Klao in the hospital after he got into a fight again, for instance. They could bond over being possessive and obsessive lovers. Klao would so understand Wan’s jealousy and her pining for 13 years. 😊

This is my newest love. And I’m so very happy someone nominated it for Yuletide since I started to watch it after nominations were already closed. Complicated and passionate age gap romances are my jam. And Vee and Nong’s relationship is like tailor made for me. The way Vee always protects Nong, and believes in him makes me so happy and heart-eyed.

If you’re writing a fic set during or post canon I’m fine with all the political stuff being mentioned only in a handwavey way, without any details.

Of course I would love a post-canon ‘getting back together’ fic. Any post-canon domestic fluff and/or smut is very welcomed. Or Vee and Nong pretending to be enemies and meeting in secret behind Sun’s back. Or Nong getting a confirmation somehow that it was indeed Vee that saved his life.

And a fic about what exactly happened during their first time. Or what did they do the next morning on that couch.

And since I love weddings, I would love a future fic about Vee and Nong’s wedding, let’s say five years later when Nong is no longer a minister.

Or canon divergence AU where Nong didn’t go into politics (because Ning didn’t get into the accident for instance), and maybe they meet the same way like in canon, or maybe some other way, but they always fall in love. And then they do start a farm in Phu Chalerm together, as Nong jokes about in episode 7. 😊

I would also love Outsider POV fics, especially from Ni’s or Jump’s POV, because they have a front row seat to their budding romance. But other POV is great, too. Especially Sun’s POV. Or Gale’s POV post-canon. And of course a look at Vee/Nong RPF shippers would be wonderful. For instance a fic from the POV of that perky admin of their fanpage we meet briefly in episode 6. Or give me discussions on reddit or tumblr, give me snippets of fics on AO3, or horny twitter threads.

Perfect 10 Liners

Klao, Warich

Ah, my beloveds with their intense, complicated and passionate love. I’ve just finished re-watching Perfect 10 Liners again and I crave fanfic. 😊

I love weddings in BL dramas, and here we only got a marriage proposal. So give me a wedding fic. What shenanigans and mishaps happened there. Or maybe it all went perfectly this time.

And give me all the post-canon fics. I would prefer them to be more on a fluffy and/or smutty side. Angst and relationship problems are fine, but with the happy ending, please.

And I would love a pre-canon fic about how they met. Did someone introduce them? Or maybe Klao came to their bar and met Warich there. And instantly fell in love. Or at least in lust at first. 😊

Nop and Newton seem to be very familiar with ups and downs in Klao and Warich’s relationship, as we see from their reaction to Klao and Warich’s fights and reconciliations, and to Klao and Warich’s tendency to have sex in semi-public places. So Outsider POV fic from one of their POVs would be great.

Or an Outsider POV fic from the POV of Gun, for instance, since he seemed to get close to Warich pretty quickly. Or from the POV of a long suffering bartender at the bar.

And I would repeat what I wrote about a crossover in the part dedicated to Affair. Because I would love a fic about Wan treating Klao in the hospital after he got into a fight again, for instance. They could bond over being possessive and obsessive lovers. Klao would so understand Wan’s jealousy and her pining for 13 years. 😊

Arthdal Chronicles

Saya, Eunseom

Complicated, and fucked up, but still full of feelings, sibling relationship are like catnip to me. And Saya and Eunseom’s relationship is like made for me. So messed up, and still filled with all this powerful love, and tragedy and suffering and pain. And I loved all the angst in canon, but now I just want to see them both happy.

I will be very happy with both gen fic and incest fic. If you’ll go with incest, I have no problem with AU where their sexual relationship starts when they are both teenagers, but I don’t want them to be younger than 15 then.

I also like Saya/Eunseom/Tanya threesome. I like Tanya a lot, too, so if you’ll go with Saya/Eunseom just have her be single, or get together with Yangcha for instance. Or with Karika Xabara – that would be wonderful. 😊

I would love AU when they were never separated and were raised together either in Wahan tribe or by Tagon in Arthdal.

Or AU where Tagon loses much earlier. Where Saya and Taealha’s rebellion was successful with Nunbyeol managing to kill Tagon. Saya says to Tanya in episode 7 of Sword of Aramun: “We’ll kill Tagon, take down Taealha, and we, the three children of the prophecy, will take over the world.” So this, I want to see this - Saya, Eunseom and Tanya ruling together. With or without the threesome. 😊

We find out in the last episode that Eunseom looked for Saya but couldn’t find him. So I want AU where Eunseom manages to find Saya. They share dreams after all, so maybe Eunseom saw Saya in his dreams again.

This is the fandom where I do request modern AUs. Have Tagon be a powerful CEO and Saya his adopted son, and Eunseum his long lost twin, and their war is about the succession. Or make it a competition between two companies Arthdal and Ago with two brothers on the opposite sides. Or mafia AU with a war between two gangs.

Bump Up Business

Gong Jihoon, Kang Eden

I love this drama. It made me into OnlyOneOf fan. I think Nine and Mill are wonderful as Jihoon and Eden. And I love both of them so much – Jihoon who’s so cautious and closed off in the beginning because of scars he has from his previous relationship, and Eden who’s like a little ray of sunshine in Jihoon’s life.

I want them to be happy together forever, so I would love a post-canon fic about their everyday life – fluff or smut or both. I don’t mind some angst, for instance about the necessity of keeping their relationship secret if they want to be kpop idols, but only with a happy ending, please.

In episode 4 when Jihoon jokes about having a lover Eden says: “There were rumors about you in the past.” I would love a fic about that. What was the rumors about – Jihoon’s relationship with Hyunbin? Did Jihon have other lovers in the past?

And to steal the idea from real life – maybe Jihoon and Eden are offered the opportunity to act in a BL drama. How would they deal with that? Jihoon/Eden RPF shippers would explode for sure. 😊

Outsider POV would be great, too – for instance from their manager Choi Dajung’s POV, or from Jay’s POV. Or maybe even from a fan’s POV. Again something about fandom would be great – excerpts from RPF fics, discussions on tumblr or discord, tinhating.

Vincenzo

Jang Han Seok, Jang Han Seo

I love Jang brothers, they were my favorite part of Vincenzo. And I love complicated siblings relationship, and their relationship is so complicated, and so wonderfully fucked up.

I will be very happy with both gen fic and incest fic. If you’ll go with incest, I have no problem with their sexual relationship starting when they are both teenagers, but I don’t want Han Seo to be younger than 15 then.

I don’t want Han Seok to be a good guy, I love him as a villain, but he can be a little bit better than he is in canon. :) So post-canon AU where Han Seo lives, because Han Seok couldn’t shoot his brother after all would be very nice. Maybe Han Seok is in prison or maybe he’s on the run – both options are fine.

Or pre-canon AU based on what Han Seo says to Vincenzo about Han Seok in episode 20 in the flashback: “When he killed his friends in middle school, my father sent him away, so no one could find him. Had he been punished then, he may not have turned out this way”. So what could happen if Han Seok was punished in some way much earlier?

Or dark Han Seo with Han Seok as his monster on the leash.

If you’ll decide to write Han Seo/Han Seok, then with this pairing I’m very into dub-con where Han Seo doesn’t really know if he wants it or not. And he may hate himself afterwards, but at the same time he can’t resist it.

Yuletide

Sign-ups are open, yay! I’m waiting with singing up till this weekend, since I want to watch Mandate finale first. But my Yuletide letter is already written. Well, the section for Mandate is still unfinished, but even without that my letter already has 2200 words, oops. 😊 Yes, I am using a new request limit almost to the fullest and asking for 7 fandoms.


Typhoon Family

This is Junho’s new drama, and it’s very good. Or at least the first two episodes were very good. And the 2nd episode made me cry a bit. But despite a few sad moments it is a very warm, lovely and occasionally funny drama about a carefree young man, who has his life turned upside down when his father suddenly passes away. It’s the year 1997 and Asian Financial Crisis hits, and Kang Tae Pung has to work hard to save the company his father build.

Junho is fantastic and he looks gorgeous. Kim Min Ha is absolutely wonderful as the female lead. I’m already very invested. And I’m so glad that with this and The Murky Stream I have two good kdramas to watch now. And that I like the main het couple in both dramas a lot, after being so underwhelmed by Bon Apetit, Your Majesty in that regard.

Two fics for Guardian Wishlist are written, edited and sent for beta-reading. Well ok, one fic and one short ficlet. But still, I feel so accomplished. 😊 The third fic is started, but I feel like I bit more than I can chew with this plot bunny, so I don’t know if it will get finished in time for collection reveal.


Shine episode 8

It was partially what I expected, and partially not at all. I guess I had too big expectations for that finale because I ended up feeling a bit underwhelmed. But in general it was a very good and very emotional drama, and I would absolutely recommend it if you want to watch BL that’s plotty and angsty and full of complicated, messy, and sometimes tragic relationships between complicated and messy people.

I was a bit disappointed by their decision to make Tanwa blameless in at first keeping Trin at home while the riot happened, just because he promised Victor he would do that. It feels like they did it so Trin can forgive Tanwa with a clear conscience. But I admit that the last scene with old men Trin and Tanwa in 2025 still together was very sweet.

I also admit that I was dreading that Krailert would kill himself. He didn’t. But his fate was horrible. Trapped in that marriage, without any means of escaping. I think they wanted to make it look like him paying for that choice he made after his actor lover was killed in the past, and he decided to stay in the army and work for people who killed Win. But really what choice did Krailert have even then? Would the army even let him go if he decided he didn’t want to have anything to do with them after Win’s death?

And ok, Dhevi reveal surprised me a lot. That I didn’t expect at all. Talk about complicated and messy people. But at least thanks to her Naran is alive and safe, and she made Pracha pay with his life for what he did to Veera.
