Today started badly, because my mom is in the hospital again. It’s nothing really serious, I mean it’s serious enough that she has to stay in the hospital till Monday, or maybe Tuesday, but it’s not life threatening. But it was nerve-wracking there for a while.
So to distract myself I finished a fic I started last week. It will come as no surprise to anyone when I say that it’s a History 2 Right or Wrong fic. Yep. :) And it’s the most self-indulgent, tooth-rotting fluff I’ve ever written. I found out it’s really liberating to write fanfic for such a tiny fandom. Because, hey, it will probably be read by like two other people. It allowed me to be as self-indulgent as I wanted. :D
I also watched the first two episodes of History 2 Crossing The Line this week. And then I had to stop, because I really, really don’t need or want another fandom right now. And I already know I will fall in love with the secondary couple. We’ll see how long I will be able to resist. ;)
I also started watching Netflix’s Tales Of The City and it’s fine. The actors are good, especially Murray Bartlett. I loved him in Looking and he’s great here IMO. And since I haven’t read the book, I’m also interested in the plot, but truly speaking I’m not very engaged. Enough to finish, but no more than that.
And I saw Spider-Man Far From Home yesterday. It was nice, I enjoyed it, but I liked the first movie better.

And IMO, all fanfic is allowed to be as self-indulgent as you want! That generally makes for the best stories, really. :-) But I do hear you, the brain does like to throw on the brakes...
