maggie33: (the king eternal monarch jo yeong 2)

I bought a laptop. I have a PC (with Windows 7) that’s almost 10 years old and I don’t think it has much life left in it. I mean it’s still good, albeit a bit slow sometimes. But a few programs already stopped working on it, for instance Adobe Acrobat. So I now have a beautiful new ASUS laptop. I just have to find time to set it up the way I want. Maybe on weekend. :)

I was planning to start My Country: New Age, but I couldn’t resist a re-watch of The King: Eternal Monarch. At first I wanted to re-watch only Woo Do-Hwan’s scenes. He is just so fantastic in this drama. Not only he plays two completely different characters Jo Yeong and Jo Eun-Seob, he also plays Jo Yeong pretending to be Eun-Seob, and Eun-Seob pretending to be Jo Yeong. So more like four different characters.

But I also widened the scope of my re-watch a bit, because I realized that I liked Lee Gon much more this time than I did when I was watching for the first time. Partly because all the BTS vids I’ve watched and all I’ve read about the drama’s actors convinced me that Lee Min-Ho is genuinely a very nice and sweet guy. So my appreciation for the actor got transferred to his character. :)

And Lee Min-Ho and Woo Do-Hwan are friends in real life and reading about their BTS interactions makes go awww a lot. For instance Woo Do-Hwan said this about Lee Min-Ho in his latest interview:

“For me, he was my majesty from the beginning and will be my majesty in the future”

Awwww... And here are a few adorable pics of them together.
