I thought about making a post yesterday, but decided against it, because it would only end in incoherent screaming and squee. 😉 Because I love everything about it. I had very high expectations for this drama and the 1st episode exceeded all of them.
But it’s one episode a week. I forgot how to watch shows at the pace of one episode a week. Usually with Asian dramas it’s at least two. That will be hard. 😊
They are my favorites because I’m obsessed with ForceBook now. But damn – everything about them was so, so good. Top is a player and full of red flags, but he also seems to have a tiny little bit of real fondness for Mew already. Partly because Mew is such a novelty for him, and not like his usual conquests, sure. But some of it seems genuine for me. He looks so fond when Mew is jokingly describing how into Top he would be if they slept together.
And you can see steel behind Mew’s soft and safe outer persona. Like he’s a fluffy kitten, but you know he has sharp claws. And of course all the making out on the kitchen counter was super hot.
There will be so much drama with them, I can’t wait. And I still hope for a happy ending for them. What can I say, I’m a sap. But it there will be angst and heartbreak I will love it, too. 😊
Boston and Nick
Neo is excellent as a bad boy. That arrogance, those sexy looks, but also you can see vulnerability underneath, and that longing he has for Top although he’d never admit it, of course.
Also hey, that was Drake – I remember him from Bad Buddy and A Boss And A Babe. Give me all random GMMTV boys as Boston’s hookups, please. 😊
And Mark is very cute as Nick. And he’s not some innocent, oblivious cutie, he knows what he wants, and he takes it. And their making out was super hot, too. But for now I don’t really care for them as a couple yet. We’ll see if it changes after a few episodes more.
Sand and Ray
There’s Khaotung being the saddest drunk spoiled rich boy ever. His pining for Mew is visible from space. He is such a mess. But I admit that only Khao’s acting talent and personal charm keeps Ray from being very, very annoying to me. He’s not my kind of character. And then there’s First looking beautiful in black leather, being so cool and rolling his eyes in the background at all the antics of our messy group of friends. Their chemistry is great, of course, and they have this antagonists-to-lovers dynamic I love, but for now I’m on the fence if I can see them working out as a couple.
Chuem
I like what I’ve seen of her so far. But there wasn’t much in the 1st episode. And I desperately want more. And her love interest will be played by the newbie actress Nonnie Pitchaporn Kirdpan, who’s Nanon’s younger sister. I can’t wait to have her here already.
