It’s too fricking hot here. At least today it’s just 30°C, it was 35°C yesterday. Grrr... I basically spend my days this week moving as little as possible, drinking a lot of water and herbal tea, and watching dramas.
The Auditors
It’s a new kdrama with Shin Ha Kyun as the new leader of the audit team at the company that has a problem with corruption, because it’s in the middle of a power struggle between two brothers. A good older brother is the one who employed the new auditor because he wants to weed out all the corrupted people. But I mainly watch this drama for Jin Goo as the main villain – a younger half-brother, who wants to take over the company by any means possible. I only saw Jin Goo before in Descendants Of The Sun and he was a good guy there. But here he is so delightfully evil and he looks hot as hell with his new luxurious long locks. 😊
Only two episodes aired for now (it’s on VIKI), and I enjoyed them. I hope it will stay as entertaining for the rest of the drama.
The Rebound
Episodes 5 and 6 aired this week. And I have to admit that I don’t really care for the main pairing. I don’t hate them or anything like that. But I’m also pretty meh about them.
In contrast to that my second favorite pairing (the couch and the director) seems to be much healthier and cuter. Well, I still don’t know if that pairing will happen at all. But let’s hope for now that it will. 😊
And is that a possible throuple I spy in the promo for the next ep? Probably not, since Meen and Ping are the established pairing. But it would be so great if that happened.
I also have very good Jdrama news. Two wonderful people on tumblr made fansubs for all the six episodes of the 3rd season of A Man Who Defies The World of BL.
Links to subs and raw episodes are here.
I already watched the whole season and it is cute and very funny. But it ends on cliffhanger again. I hope there will be another season in the future.
But there will be the second season of Tengu no Daidokoro with Kiita Komagine. Yay! According to MyDramaList page it will start airing in October. I really hope it will be available with English subtitles (official or fansubs) somewhere.
And I have two recs and two trailers.
Two fanvids for At 25:00 In Akasaka:
Hayama Asami/Shirasaki Yuki - If I Can't Have You
Yamase Kazuma - Little Bit of Love
4 Minutes - the official trailer for BeOnCloud new BL drama with Bible and his new acting partner Jess.
It looks intriguing and sexy, and I’ll definitely check it out. It starts airing on July 26, but I don’t know on which streaming service yet. People say it will be probably GagaOOLala.
First Note of Love - the official teaser of a new Taiwanese BL drama about a romance between a singer and his loyal fan.
It stars Charles Tu (who was one of the leads in History 4) and Michael Chang (who was one half of a secondary pairing in My Tooth Your Love). They look good together, and they are both good actors, so I intend to try it. It starts airing in August also on GagaOOLala.

More about pairings I care about, with minor spoilers, behind the cut.
I care the most about fucked up relationship between Q and hot gangster boss Tos, because wow talk about messy and full of consent issues. And thankfully the show doesn’t pretend that it’s anything else but messy and fucked up.In contrast to that my second favorite pairing (the couch and the director) seems to be much healthier and cuter.
