I complained a lot in my last post. In this post, for a change, there is nothing but appreciation and love. 😊

Mystic Pop-up Bar

I finished it. And that ending, ahhh, that ending... I cried and then I laughed, it was beautiful. I’m very satisfied. If you want to watch something cute and funny and heartwarming, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Mr. Sunshine

One and a half episode watched yesterday. Verdict for now: I like it a lot. Kim Eun Sook is a great screewriter, the actors are very good, and there was a lot of angst and drama already. I can’t wait to watch more this evening.

Nirvana in Fire

I finally started it yesterday and this drama gets its own tag already. Because yes, it is as good as everybody says it is.

Spoilers for the first four episodes below.

After all the warnings I’ve read earlier I expected the first episode to be much more confusing. I had a moment of confusion about two guys in white robes with long hair, like “wait a moment, this is the same guy, right? Ah, no, they’re two different guys”. 😊 But the rest wasn’t really confusing to me.

Mei Changsu is the best of course. By that scene in episode 2 when the Grand Empress recognized him I knew that I would like this drama. By that “I want to choose you, Prince Jing” scene in episode 4 I knew that I would love it. Because that scene was amazing. The whole talk, the looks, the chemistry between them... Everything about it was perfect. ♥

I was a bit reluctant to start it also because of number of episodes. 54 seemed like a lot. But now I’m happy that the drama is so long, because I’m sure there are so many good things still before me. 😊

Oh, cool! I'm glad to hear Mystic Pop-up Bar has a good ending -- I mean to get to that sometime. :-)

<3 Nirvana in Fire! <3 I'm rewatching it now and it's sooo good. Ahh, that scene in episode 4!! <3

It never felt like 54 episodes to me. I'd watch one episode and it would feel like it only lasted 15 minutes because I was so wrapped up in what was happening.

I might have to rewatch Nirvana in Fire myself someday, as I enjoyed it a lot too. Although one of my favorite characters was one of the "villains" and I was kind of bummed with what happened to him. Not that it was undeserved, but...
