I’m in Warsaw for work this week, and today was a very exhausting day. Luckily my evening is much better.
For the last three days I haven’t been receiving any e-mails from AO3. I was a bit sad, because I missed my daily kudos e-mail. But today I got all the overdue e-mails – the answers to my comments, the subscriptions notifications and four kudos e-mails at once, and a comment on one of my fics. That was so nice. 😊
I also watched episodes 5 and 6 of Nirvana in Fire. I loved them of course.
Spoilers below.
The best thing again was the talk in episode 6 between Mei Changsu and Prince Jing. All those emotions, Prince Jing saying that his best friend died, Mei Changsu’s... well, everything – the look on his face, his eyes, his voice. He really is a fantastic character. ♥
When that scene ended I was sighing happily and making heart-eyes at the screen. And then I got reminded suddenly that this drama also has “vampire yetis”, and I started giggling inappropriately. :DDD Yes, I know about “vampire yetis”. I think that was one of the first things I heard about Nirvana in Fire.
The Noble Consort (well, not anymore) Yue is a nasty piece of work, and I’m glad she got at least some punishment.
And I like Yan Yujin and Xiao Jingrui more and more. They are both so cheerful and kind. They are not the smartest, but they know they are not the smartest and they don’t mind. If some dark fate awaits them, please don’t tell me. For now I want to live in hope (not matter how false it might be) that they both will be alive and well by the end of the drama. 😊
