I will report when I'm done with Life on Mars. As of now I've watched 12 episodes, just 4 more to go, and my current opinion is very positive.
re: not me, i read online that for all its tropey goodness, it's also quite political - and some of the criticism of social and gov't corruption was apparently so harsh, it was censored and had to be toned down.
Oh, I haven't heard about that, and now I'm really curious, too. I haven't watched the first ep yet, I decided that I would wait until at least a few more episodes are available with English subs.
