More good things
Midnight Museum
The last two episodes aired this week. And what a weird and confusing, but at the same time very entertaining drama it was. It’s like TPTB decided to just throw everything in one big pot: time travel, magic, immortals, manipulative gods and/or aliens, multiple alternate universes, cursed artifacts. Then added great actors and a lot of homoerotic tension between the two leads, and stirred. And voila you have Midnight Museum.
I enjoyed it a lot and I hope there will be the 2nd season. The ending is open enough for that, so it seems the creators do hope for another season, too. And what a playground for post-canon fanfic. I hope there will be a lot of fics.
Moonlight Chicken
I watched it again, for the third time. I love it so much.
My rambling squee with spoilers below.
I know a lot of people in the fandom dislike Jim, and love Alan. And I even get why. But it’s the opposite for me. I couldn’t care less about Alan, apart from appreciating how well First plays him, and how gorgeous he is. But I love Jim. He’s so relatable to me. Maybe because he’s almost 40, so closer to my age than any other main character from a BL drama. And I love the relationship between Jim and Li Ming. It’s so realistic, with Jim loving Li Ming and wanting what’s best for him, but at the same time failing to listen to what Li Ming wants.
And I love, love, love Jim/Wen. It’s one of the rare instances of me loving the main couple the most. I mean I love Heart/Li Ming, too. They are the sweetest boys and super cute together. But Jim/Wen grabbed me by the heart since the first moment.
I watched the whole drama three times, but I re-watched the first 20 minutes of the 1st episode at least 10 times for now. I love everything about it – that first look and instant attraction Wen feels. That slow walk with Wen leaning more and more on Jim with each step. Wen’s flirting, his “fuck me” eyes, their insane chemistry, and their hot NC scene.
And Jim absolutely feels the attraction, too. He just doesn’t think that he will act on it, at least at first. So he can allow himself to flirt with this pretty boy who makes sweet eyes at him. And I think Jim allows it, because he feels safe in the knowledge that nothing will ever happen between them. And then it happens anyway.

Crash Course in Romance finished airing here on Netflix a few weeks ago, but I still haven’t gotten around to watching it. Instead, since I was in the mood for sageuk, I started The Secret Romantic Guesthouse on VIKI. And I like it a lot. But it’s an ongoing drama and for now only 6 episodes are available, and I already watched three.
Jeff Satur
The new song: Dum Dum
The interview with Woody - he’s a Thai journalist, but there are English subtitles, and it’s a very good interview.
Guys singing Mein Herr from Cabaret
Aaron Tveit
Corbin Bleu
