And now about fannish good things.
The official trailer for Zee and NuNew’s movie After Sundown is here. It’s like Cutie Pie, but with ghosts. 😊 It’s a movie, so I don’t think it will be available on Youtube, but I still hope they will make it available for the international audience somehow.
And since I missed ForceBook I re-watched A Boss And A Babe and then I watched Enchante. It’s their first drama, and I heard before that it was not good. And yeah, it’s not good. I wouldn’t say it’s horrible or unwatchable, or anything like that. But it’s boring and rather dull, and I fast-forwarded through almost all the scenes without Force and Book.
The best thing about it was Force’s character Akk. Force is great as Akk. Akk is kind and sweet and funny. But Book’s character Theo is just bland. He’s very pretty, so you know, he’s nice to look at, but that’s all there is with him for me. And IMO their kisses here are so awkward. They are so much better at kissing in A Boss And A Babe. 😊
And after that I watched Moonlight Chicken again, and found even more things to rave about. Another post with squee might be coming soon.
I also watch the kdrama Doctor Cha. It’s pretty good and I enjoy it. Or rather I did for the 11 episodes. I watched episode 12 yesterday and I didn’t finish it, because everything about it was rubbing me the wrong way. I’m so disappointed right now, and thinking about dropping it. I’ll give it a few days more, and then we’ll see.
But even as I was watching previous episodes it was a very shallow enjoyment on my part, I couldn’t get emotionally engaged. And there was one big reason for this. I’m talking about it below with minor spoilers.

The drama clearly wants me to be interested in Cha Jung Sook’s husband, and it wants the viewer to find him and his behavior amusing, I guess, even if at the same time despicable. I don’t. I just find him realistically horrible sexist jerk, who was cheating on his wife for years. Why would I want to watch that? I love villains, as everybody reading my dreamwidth knows, but he’s not some great villain, he’s just a small-minded asshole and I don’t see anything enjoyable or entertaining about him. I often fast-forward through his scenes, because I can’t stand him.I also started watching another Kdrama Bloodhounds a week ago and I watched 5 episodes for now. And I like it a lot, and here I am very emotionally engaged. Woo Do Hwan is wonderful, there is a great bromance that lends itself very well to shipping (and I do ship them a lot, and I’ve already checked if there are fics on AO3, and there are a few, yay 😊). A few scenes were a bit too brutal for me, so I do fast-forward a little sometimes. But all in all it’s an entertaining drama.
And I started paying for GagaOOLala because of Our Dining Table and it was totally worth it. That drama was adorable and heart-warming and made me smile so much. And if you’re watched it and maybe didn’t notice, there is the 11th episode – a holiday special. And it’s also wonderful and super cute.
I don’t want to cancel my subscription yet, so now I feel like I should watch something else on Gaga to justify me paying for it. 😊
And I always forget that I can make polls now, so let’s make a poll. If you are a lurker or just passing by you can vote, too, if you want. 😊
