I knew this episode wouldn’t be longer than 15 minutes, since episode 17 was 35 minutes long. But despite so little time there was so much delicious angst here.
Because, to my surprise, the trailer wasn’t misleading this time, and Tang Yi did shoot Shao Fei, after Shao Fei threw himself between Tang Yi and his victim. The shooting was of course the last scene in the episode, so we have to wait a week to see the aftermath. Chris Wu did and an amazing job again, he does angst really well. And he looks very beautiful all in black. :) I’d love to watch something else with him in the future.
And I understand that they have a plot and want to move it along. But I really would prefer to have at least one scene with Jack in this episode instead of those two long karaoke bar scenes.
