HIStory 2 Right or Wrong

General opinion - I liked it. It’s not as good as Trapped, but I liked it. More with spoilers and a few pics behind the cut.

It’s about the student and his professor falling in love. The professor is a divorced single father raising, quite badly at first, a 7 years old girl. He hires his 19 years old student to be his daughter’s nanny.

I don’t mind teacher/student relationships or age gaps, so that didn’t bother me at all. But I could do without all this “being gay is wrong” angst in the first half. Trapped was so refreshing in that regard – all the angst was about cop/gangster stuff. Also I think this show would benefit from at least a few more episodes. There was no time for developing secondary characters, so they’re all rather bland. But the love story is developed quite well in such a short time. And all the domestic scenes with Shi Yi Jie, Fei Sheng Zhe and Yo Yo (who is an absolutely adorable little girl) were very cute and sweet. Just look:

There is kissing, but only in the last episode. It’s nice and hot and there is quite a lot of it, so I’m not complaining. :)

All in all it was a very enjoyable show to watch. And short – just 8 episodes around 20 minutes each. I watched it in two days. And I downloaded it for future re-watching.

...those are two different shows? I thought they were the same one, just with different translations of the name. o_O

Yep, there are two completely different shows under the name History 2 - "Right or Wrong" and "Crossing the Line", each has 8 episodes. History 3 will have another show in the second half of the year, too, unconnected to Trapped, with different actors, named "Make Our Days Count".

Hm. I haven't watched it, and age gap and especially student/teacher is not my thing, and neither is kid!anything. But they meet outside a school setting, so that might change things a little for me. Also, if it's on viki, I can look forward to watching it in HD, soo maybe I'll try it after all?

(I should def rewatch HIStory3 first, though, so I can make more icons.)

Shows when a kid has a prominent part are hit or miss for me. It depends heavily on the kid. But I love Yo Yo, the actress is adorable and pretty good IMO. And I saw a few opinions from people that liked Right or Wrong despite teacher/student not being their thing usually. So who knows, you might like it? :)
