I finally finished it today. And what a beautiful happy end it was. I’m satisfied. :)
More with minor spoilers behind the cut.
It too me some time to finish it because I had to take a break after watching episode 10. Jin-ah’s mother’s hysterical reaction after finding out about Jin-ah and Joon-hee kind off soured me on the whole drama. The sexual harassment plot at Jin-ah’s work was also becoming more and more hard to watch.
So I took a 3 months break and started to watch again last month. But since both of the above-mentioned parts were still prominent in the drama I couldn’t watch more than 1 episode per week. But it was absolutely worth watching just for Jin-ah and Joon-hee’s relationship. And there are a few other secondary characters I liked, especially Geum Bo-ra and Vice President Jung Young-in. They were both fantastic.
I wanted to watch Romance Is A Bonus Book next, because I read good opinions about it. But then I saw that Netflix in Poland added One Spring Night recently. It’s Jung Hae In’s new drama and I really want to see something else with him, because he’s so adorable and pretty and a very good actor. So I plan to start One Spring Night tomorrow.

(I got sadly disillusioned from about episode 12 or 13, and kept waiting for them to pull out of their spiralling failure to communicate and learn to be a couple. I really wanted Jin-ah to stop making the same mistake!! So I didn't find the ending very satisfying from a Jin-ah/Joon-hee POV -- it was too little, too late, for me -- but by that stage I loved Bo-ra so much that she was some consolation. I'm still bitter at how the sexual harassment storyline turned out, though! *sigh*
But those first 10 or 12 episodes were so delicious, I can easily imagine just watching those again (over and over and over).)
I'll be really interested to hear what you think of One Spring Night!
