I finally finished it today. And what a beautiful happy end it was. I’m satisfied. :)
More with minor spoilers behind the cut.
It too me some time to finish it because I had to take a break after watching episode 10. Jin-ah’s mother’s hysterical reaction after finding out about Jin-ah and Joon-hee kind off soured me on the whole drama. The sexual harassment plot at Jin-ah’s work was also becoming more and more hard to watch.
So I took a 3 months break and started to watch again last month. But since both of the above-mentioned parts were still prominent in the drama I couldn’t watch more than 1 episode per week. But it was absolutely worth watching just for Jin-ah and Joon-hee’s relationship. And there are a few other secondary characters I liked, especially Geum Bo-ra and Vice President Jung Young-in. They were both fantastic.
I wanted to watch Romance Is A Bonus Book next, because I read good opinions about it. But then I saw that Netflix in Poland added One Spring Night recently. It’s Jung Hae In’s new drama and I really want to see something else with him, because he’s so adorable and pretty and a very good actor. So I plan to start One Spring Night tomorrow.

So I didn't find the ending very satisfying from a Jin-ah/Joon-hee POV -- it was too little, too late, for me
I get that. Their repeated failures to communicate bothered me too sometimes, but I guess not that much. And I loved their happy ending, because while watching the last 2 episodes I started to get very afraid that there wouldn’t be happy ending at all. That, just like with the sexual harassment storyline, it would get depressingly realistic and they would never get together again. And I really needed at least some optimism in the end. The whole thing with Bo-ra on the island and Jin-ah joining her was lovely, but it wouldn’t be satisfying enough for me. :)

Yes, me too! Their relationship was so golden and shiny and ADORABLE, and I really expected and wanted so much for it to work out! That's why I thought a V-shaped threesome fixit would be a good fix -- Bo-ra realising that she is really only attracted to Jin-ah when Jin-ah is happily in love with Joon-hee, because he makes her braver and shinier, and Joon-hee coming to see that Bo-ra's influence makes Jin-ah better too -- better at communicating, better at being grounded -- and Jin-ah realising she wants both of them (and coming to terms with the sometimes-Bo-ra-is-a-cat side of things)! \o? ;-)

By the way I did watch the 1st episode of One Spring Night and the actress playing Bo-ra has a secondary part here, as a free-spirited and impulsive sister of the main female character. And she’s great. The romance part is pretty meh for now despite Jung Hae In being pretty and adorable, but I already really like the relationship between the main female character and her two sisters. Complicated, but loving sibling relationships are my jam. :)
