My internet connection at home went kaput on Sunday. Someone will come today and check it. But apparently it’s some massive failure on my internet provider’s side. It’s supposed to be repaired tomorrow morning the latest. I hope it will be. I have my phone of course, but the screen is too small for my poor eyes, which start hurting after 30 or so minutes of reading. Luckily I can check my e-mail and dreamwidth at work, and even sometimes read a fic or two when I have less to do.

But without that distraction I managed to watch the rest of Medical Examiner Dr Qin on Sunday and Monday (I have the yotube version downloaded). And I love all the OT3 goodness we got here. And the tragic woobie Qin Ming with his traumatic childhood. :)

The rest behind the cut, with spoilers.

Oh that scene when Lin Tao has to arrest Qin Ming... It was so good. And of course it had to happen during the storm, with loud thunder and heavy rain. It wouldn’t be dramatic enough otherwise. ;) But Qin Ming looked beautiful with wet hair and face and with that heartbreaking look in his eyes.

I love that Li Dabao and Lin Tao never doubted that Qin Ming was innocent. There wasn’t even a moment of hesitation before they started working together to clear Qin Ming’s name.

And I love that adorable scene in the hospital when Dabao opens her eyes slowly and sees Qin Ming and Lin Tao sitting on the opposite sides of her bed. And they all smile such relieved smiles. Aww...

I want all the fics, so of course, as is the case with all my fannish fascinations lately, there are only 3 in English on AO3. Luckily two of those are good. I’ll look for fanvids when my internet connection is back. There must be at least one or two, right?

Heh, I think I did that same fic search, with the same results.

One thing that bugged me about the last episode, though, that I just have to put down to Dramatic Storytelling because otherwise I just go DDDDD: over: Lin Tao has lockpicks, he could have picked that lock. Or shot it off, with the gun he carries as part of his job. :/

*sighs* It's a nitpick, I know, but I can't help it.

Also, I didn't find the show as gory as I was expecting, based off everything I heard about it. There were only a couple of scenes I couldn't watch, overall. Then again, maybe I've just watched too much CSI and/or NCIS to be disturbed by a lot of it.
