RL is bad, bad, bad. But on fannish front things are very good, so I can even forget about the RL badness for a while sometimes.
The Next Prince
The official pilot trailer for ZeeNuNew new drama The Next Prince is here. And it’s long (almost 9 minutes) and beautiful and amazing. I want it in my eyeballs now. Zee and NuNew are both great and their chemistry is burning up the screen. But I also instantly fell in love with the secondary couple despite them having like maybe 30 seconds of screentime here. No exact date of premiere is known yet, I hope they will announce it soon.
New Japanese BL “At 25 in Akasaka” will premiere on Gaga on 18th of April, and I’m obsessed already.
It’s about a rookie actor Shirasaki Yuki who is chosen to star in a new BL drama with an established star Hayama Asami. They start having sex as a sort of workshop for the drama, and of course catch feelings along the way. And they don’t realize and can’t to admit to themselves that they fell in love. It’s like a perfect embodiment of “Mutual Pining While Fucking” trope.
I got curious and started reading the manga it’s based on, and I’m almost done with the 1st volume. I like it, and more importantly it reminds me of My Personal Weatherman a bit. And for me that’s a very good thing. 😊
Hayama Asami is played by Kiita Komagine, whom I liked a lot in those two sentai dramas I watched lately. And he looks so good here with blond hair.

This pic of Higuchi Kouhei and Mashiko Atsuki also cheered me up a lot this week.
Seriously, I have no words, they are so beautiful. ♥
Last but not least - my newest musical love OnlyOneOf will have concerts in Europe in June as a part of their 2024 World Tour. And they will come to Poland, too. Yay!!! There are no specific dates or places announced yet, but still I’m so, so happy. The most convenient for me would be Warsaw, so here is hoping for that. 😊
