OnlyOneOf concert in Warsaw on the 12th of June

I’m very glad that I was able to go. They are all beautiful, sexy, talented and charming men, and it was a pleasure to watch and listen to them live. I didn’t manage to stay for the whole performance, though. The club was very hot and stuffy, you had to stand all the time, and with my health being what it is, after an hour and a half I felt dizzy, as if I was going to faint any minute. Luckily for me that was the moment when they sang Libido. And since that’s my favorite OnlyOneOf song I was all ‘ok, fine, I saw Libido on stage, I can go now.’ 😊 And then I did leave. But still, it was a great experience.


Sunset x Vibes episode 1

I love it so much already. Mos and Bank are great and both look gorgeous, all the secondary pairings are great, too (I really hope Fong and JJ will be a couple, too; we got crumbs in Big Dragon, and I want them as a proper couple here). And there is a fantasy element that I can’t wait to know more about.

I still have a cold. I was feeling a bit better the last three days and I made a mistake of going outside and doing things outside, and now I feel awful again. My poor nose is all red, and my head hurts. Ugh... At least I don’t have to go to work, so that’s good.

A mini teaser for a historical Thai GL drama with Freen and Becky (the leads from GAP The Series). And it looks so good and I want it now. Don’t know when it will air, though, there is no date announced for now.

A teaser trailer for another Thai GL drama. It’s an age gap romance, so something I really like. Can’t wait to watch that one, too. It premiers on March the 2nd.


Deep Night

A trailer for a Thai BL drama, that starts airing on March the 7th. It takes place in a host club. And has the son of the club owner falling in love with one of the hosts. It looks like a colorful, dramatic and entertaining mess. Could be fun. It premiers on March the 7th.


Unknown

A long (11 minutes) trailer for a Taiwanese BL drama based on the web novel "Da Ge" (大哥) by Priest. It’s an age gap step-brothers romance – two things which Taiwanese BL seems to like a lot. 😊 Well, I like it, too, so I will be watching this one. It airs on Youku, but the first two episode are also already on Youtube. And I think the next episodes will be, too, just a bit later than on Youku app.

Spare Me Your Mercy

It’s a Thai BL drama adapted from the novel "Euthanasia" by Sammon. The same Sammon, who wrote Manner of Death novel. It’s about a police officer and a doctor who team up to solve the case of suspicious deaths of elderly patients (a police officer’s mother was one of the victims). A doctor is played by Tor Thanapob, whom I loved a lot as Khatha in Midnight Museum.

Amidst a Snowstorm of Love

It’s a new cdrama with Wu Lei. It looks good and I plan to watch it, but I’m waiting for all the episodes to be available on VIKI.

I'll Be There by GENIC

GENIC is a 7 member Japanese co-ed group, and I’ve been listening to them lately, because one of its members is Mashiko Atsuki aka Yoh from My Personal Weatherman, which I lately re-watched for the second, and probably not the last, time.


dOpamine by OnlyOneOf

I re-watched Bump Up Business last week, and somehow liked it so much more this time than when I watched it for the first time a few months ago. I was pretty meh on it then. It’s pretty low budget and feels rather rushed in the second half, since it has only 8 episodes, and each episode is only 15 minutes long.

But this re-watch made me fall into the rabbit hole of OnlyOneOf music (Nine is my bias, as the kids these days say 😊). dOpamine is their latest song.

Bump Up Business is a Korean BL about idol trainee Eden, who is paired with his older colleague Jihoon to form a duo. Managers decide that this duo will use Business Gay Performance as the concept to attract fans’ attention, but Eden and Jihoon fall in love for real, of course. Two main characters and four supporting characters are played by the members of OnlyOneOf.

I don’t know why I fell so hard after watching it for the 2nd time, but this time something clicked for me and I did. I want to write fanfic (I might have started writing already, whoops). Of course it’s another super tiny fandom, there are only 8 fics on AO3. But what can I do, the heart wants what it wants. 😊
