Things at work are a bit better, life outside work is much less stressful, and I can finally relax a little. I managed to finish and edit my Yuletide fic this week, and I sent it to my beta-reader. I thought about writing at least one treat, but that probably won’t happen. I feel like my muse is dead and buried deep after all the tiredness and stress.
More and more people on my reading list falls into The Untamed fandom. Which motivates me to finally start watching it in some unspecified future. I don’t even have that much things that I want to watch, but there’s still too little time to watch all of them.
Right now my watching list looks like this:
Legacies – I watched episode 8 yesterday. I liked Seylah a lot, I will be disappointed if that’s the last we see of her.
The Originals – I started season 2 re-watch and I am full of feelings for Klaus and Hayley.
Batwoman – I don’t really know why I started watching it. Because Ruby Rose looked gorgeous in the promos? :) But I like it, Ruby Rose looks gorgeous indeed, and I love Mary and Luke, they are the best. Oh, right, I also didn’t want to be completely lost during watching Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, which starts airing on Sunday. I love Arrowverse crossovers and I can’t wait for this one.
His Dark Materials – I still love Lin-Manuel Miranda and Iorek, but the 5th episode was so-so for me.
The Crown – I’m almost finished with season 3, I have two last episodes to watch. It’s good and the actors are great. And episode 3 “Aberfan” devastated me. It’s not an easy episode to get through, but it is excellent.
My very short ‘to start watching in December’ list looks like this:
HIStory 3 Make Our Days Count – I heard diverging opinions, but I’m curious and most of it is already translated on VIKI
The Untamed – see above
The Witcher – it premieres on December the 20th on Netflix. I’m half looking forward and half dreading watching it. I will totally be this obnoxious book fan that nitpicks the show. ;) I mean I probably won’t be and just stop watching if I won’t like it. But the saga and the short stories mean so much to me. The first short story I read was A Grain of Truth in 1989 when it was published for the first time in Fantastyka (Polish monthly science-fiction magazine). I am such a hipster when it comes to The Witcher, all "I loved it first, before you all started thinking it was cool; also it’s a series of books and short stories, not a video game". ;) Also after the disaster that was a Polish TV show based on The Witcher I want this one to be good so much.
