February was supposed to be better

Real Life is ehhh... I don’t want to talk about it, because I would spend hours complaining about work. My short vacation was nice, despite dreary, rainy weather, but one day at work made me forget all about it.

Luckily fandom provides the necessary respite.


First of all this news:

Yay, I can’t wait. I saw Hamilton in London in 2018 and it was fantastic and exceeded all my expectations. I also saw the bootleg with the original Broadway cast, but the quality wasn’t very good and I’d love to see it on the big screen.


Fairyland Lovers is super cute and brings me a lot of joy. I’m up to episode 17. I love everyone, but Yang Jian is my favorite. He’s so adorable and earnest and I love that both Lin Xia and A Li call him Baby. Because he is like a baby in the modern world. :)

I adore that scene in episode 15 when Lin Xia uses “Baby, go!” to sic him on A Li after A Li steals one of her face masks and tries to run away. And Yang Jian obeys her without any hesitance. And I love that they all live together now, because almost every house scene makes me laugh so much. And I need that right now.


I can also always count on History 3 Make Our Days Count to cheer me up. I’m on my second re-watch and I’m not bored yet. And plot bunnies keep multiplying, I just wish I had more time and energy for writing.

But I found time to edit and post my second MODC fic.

Yay for fandom indeed. :) And Yang Jian's actor Ji Xiao Bing also played my favorite character in SCI Mystery. So I'm not at all surprised that I love him here. :)

I only saw about half of SCI, but he was easily the best part of it for me.

Yang Jian is wonderful, yes! Sometimes people mean something other than what they said and that confuses him immensely. And one has to respect a guy who brought a bicycle to a car chase.
