Yesterday was a bad day. I had hoped that today would be better. *bitter laugh*
Venting about the current political situation in Poland behind the cut.
Work is exhausting and I’m worried enough about the whole virus situation. I really don’t have mental power to also worry about the ruling party’s attempts to change Poland into a totalitarian regime (I mean even more than before), because they are scared shitless of losing power. They pushed through the bill that the presidential election in May will be done entirely by postal voting. They don’t want to change the date, because they know that they will lose, if the election takes place later than in May. Grrrr...
Deep breath... Ok, venting done. Now let’s talk about more pleasant thing.
I got my Guardian Reverse Exchange assignment – that’s much more enjoyable thing to worry about. :)
Two new episodes of The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty tomorrow on VIKI. Yay!
Community is on Netflix. Another yay! The re-watch will be started soon, maybe even today.
Fic rec: powers of learning - nnozomi's wonderful new Guardian fic about administration saving the world. :)
On Saturday I posted my new Guardian fic, which I started writing during Writing Rainbow Red as a treat for Reishiin.

Summary: Zhao Yunlan never wanted to travel in time again. Especially not with this traveling companion.
And today during a break from work I wrote 550 words of another Cheng Xinyan/Zhu Hong ficlet in a happy post-canon everybody lives AU.
Zhu Hong lazily opened her eyes and then instantly closed them again, because the early morning sun shone right on her face. She moved a little on the bed outside the range of cruel sunbeams and turned on her right side, already prepared to drift into the land of Nod again. But that blissful state lasted only for a few minutes, before someone suddenly pulled the cover off of her sleep-warm body.
“Argh...” Zhu Hong grumbled, looking with half-closed eyes at the smiling face of her girlfriend.
“Come on, you lazy bum,” Cheng Xinyan said. “You have to get up.”
“No, I don’t,” Zhu Hong said.
“Yes, you do. You are the leader of Yashou tribes now, you have responsibilities. And most importantly you have that meeting at 9.”
Zhu Hong groaned.
“That will be such a waste of time,” she said. “Ying Chun will be making googly eyes at Ya Qing, Ya Qing will pretend to ignore her, because she’s a repressed fool unable to recognize her feelings. And Lao Zhao would text Shen Wei every ten minutes convinced nobody could notice his pathetic attempts at being sneaky.”
“Oh, Shen Wei has a phone now?”
“Yes he does. It’s the bane of my existence,” Zhu Hong said with exaggerated despair in her voice.
Xinyan laughed.
“You still have to get up,” she said. “It’s already eight o'clock.”
“I have a much better idea,” Zhu Hong said with what she hoped was a very seductive smile.
She grabbed Xinyan by the hand and pulled her on the bed. Xinyan tried to resist, but she lost her balance and landed on the bed on her knees with her hands on both sides of Zhu Hong’s head. Exactly where Zhu Hong wanted her to be.
“Oh no,” Xinyan said, trying to suppress her laughter. “Absolutely not. I have to be at the hospital soon.”
“Come on, YanYan,” Zhu Hong said. “Just one kiss. One tiny kiss and I will let you go.”
“It’s never just one kiss with you.”
“Well, you never complain.”
Zhu Hong run her fingers from Xinyan’s neck to her breast hidden under her fluffy robe. She pulled at the belt, untying it and baring her girlfriend’s perfect breasts to her hungry gaze. Oh yes, just what she needed this morning, before that incredibly boring meeting.
“Xiao Hong,” Xinyan said with a stern frown.
But she sounded a bit breathless already and she didn’t pushed Zhu Hong’s hand away. Good, just one more thing and Xinyan would surrender. Zhu Hong raised her head and pressed her lips against Xinyan’s neck, licking and biting at the skin delicately. A deep moan was her reward. And a few seconds later she was lying flat on her back with Xinyan above her.
“Xiao Hong, Xiao Hong, what should I do with you?” Xinyan asked, desire in her eyes.
“I have a few ideas,” Zhu Hong said.
Xinyan smiled and lowered her head, her hand sneaking under the covers between Zhu Hong’s legs. And soon Zhu Hong kind of forgot about the world outside their bed.
She was late to the meeting, of course. Ya Qing threw her an irritated look. And Zhao Yunlan grinned knowingly and gave her the thumbs up. She ignored him and took her place.
“Ok, let’s start,” she said, her lips still tingling from Xinyan’s kisses.
