Dim days of dolor

Well, not anymore. But I had a serious case of the blues for the last two days. And I’ve been listening a lot to Sirenia lately, especially “Dim Days of Dolor” album and I just couldn’t resist putting it as a title of this post. :)

But it’s better today. Situation at work cleared up, there is a long weekend ahead of us, and tomorrow we’re going to my sister’s summer house in the country for 4 days. It’s in a secluded spot, so no other people nearby, and at least you can go outside without the mask.

And Duo Er'la didn’t die from the poisoned arrow. So either I misunderstood one spoiler, or she will die later maybe? I still have 18 episodes before me, the drama is 48 episodes long.


Ancient Detective

I watched the rest of the episodes available on VIKI. And I really like it. It’s engaging enough, the cases are interesting and the leads are very pretty and I ship them.

They both have female love interests in the drama, but I don’t mind. As long as Zhao Wohuan keeps protecting Jian Buzhi with ferocious intensity and worrying about him, and touching him a lot. Like this:

Fight scenes are pretty amazing, too. And Zhao Wohuan’s beloved Ming Yue is an interesting character. She’s a very intelligent and ruthless member of a sect of assassins. She’s a daughter of a sect leader and she has a high position in the sect. But when they met for the first time she pretended to be a sweet and helpless mute girl, and that’s whom Zhao Wohuan fell in love with. I can’t wait to see his reaction when he finds out the truth. Give me all the angst, show. :)


Andy Bian’s visit of the set of Because Of You 2020 – it’s a 6 minutes long vid on Instagram.

Andy is adorable. He talks with Lin Xun’s actor Mu Ji Hsu and then watches them film a kiss scene. And he mentions Kenny Chen at the end. Awww... :)

Those photos are amazing. The first one is sort of standard-issue pretty if you think it's a woman and dazzling once you know it's a man (no way I would have guessed...), and as for the second one, I have a real weakness for that pose...

Yes, I had absolutely no problem believing that everybody took Tang Fan for a woman, because he really looked like one. And the actor also has a slender figure and almost no muscles, so that helped a lot. :)

And I'm glad you liked the second pic. There are quite a lot of similar poses in the drama, when Jian Buzhi leans against Zhao Wohuan like a fainting damsel (he's sick and they are looking for a cure for him) and I love it. :D
