Damn it, show. I expected this, but still... 😢 I watched only half of the episode 23 yesterday. The reason for that is behind the cut, with major spoilers.
Right in the middle of this episode Kudo Hina died and I bawled my eyes out, and then I had to stop watching for a while.
My wonderful, brave, smart, resourceful, damaged, beautiful girl... She was fantastic and my favorite female character in Mr. Sunshine. Her Korean name was Lee Yang Hwa, but when she was a young woman her father forced her to marry a rich and old Japanese businessman. Hence her Japanese name Kudo Hina, which she uses in the drama. It’s suggested that her husband abused and beat her and that she finally killed him. She’s morally ambiguous and ruthless, but she also helps our more morally upstanding heroes many times.
