Those two weeks were rather bad. Work is not only exhausting, but often frustrating. And the rest of the month probably won’t be much better in that regard. Last week one of my aunts (my mom’s older sister) died. I wasn’t close to her, she lived in a different city and I saw her once a year every two, three years. But my mom was close to her, and she took it hard. And of course there is the whole COVID situation. Today they reported 5300 new cases in Poland and it will only get worse. *tired sigh*

But luckily a few good things happened during those two weeks, too.

I finished the first draft of my Trick or Treat assignment. Yay me! :)

I bought a beautiful new desk, which is bigger than my old one, and so much more comfortable.

I bought two new bedside tables, which are also very pretty, and, what’s more important, have drawers that I can open without struggling and cursing for a few minutes. :)

But the best things during those two weeks was definitely my daily dose of Good Manager episodes.

[personal profile] china_shop, I’m so grateful to you for that rec, because I love it. And I ship Kim Sung Ryong/Seo Yool hard. I watched episode 19 earlier today and I will watch the last episode later this evening.

Spoilers with four shippy gifs below.

Like I wrote in my earlier post, for me they were slashy from the beginning, but the best fun started with episode 15 and this scene:

Then in episode 17 Sung Ryong says: “I just never said this, but Director Seo and I have a love-hate relationship.” :DDD

Then Sung Ryong helped save Seo Yool’s during a difficult situation, and they started working together instead of against each other. And then came the most wonderful episode 19 with this scene:

And this one:

And this one:

Yes, Seo Yool totally panicked right after. But Sung Ryong was completely unfazed. He even called Seo Yool “honey”. He said: “What’s wrong, honey? Let’s just sleep together.” LOL

That drama brought me so much joy lately and I’m so glad I started watching it. And tomorrow I plan to read all the fics. I can’t wait. :)
