Yes, I’m still obsessed. And it’s great, because it’s such a nice distraction from RL. And today is Independence Day - a national holiday in Poland, I’m not at work and I can wallow in my obsession all day without any obstacles. :D
I started Beautiful Gong Shim on weekend. I watched three episodes for now and I like it a lot. Nam Goong Min is wonderful and beautiful as always and I like the main female character, too and I ship them already. They are both sweet weirdoes with a big heart and abrasive personality. They are perfect for each other. :)
Today I also watched two episodes of The Doctors where he guest starred as a single father of two young boys who were both seriously ill. Everything ended well for them, but in the meantime he did make me cry with those beautiful eyes of his filled with tears. :)
I also re-watched again a few of my favorite scenes from Remember on youtube, the ones with Nam Gyu Man doing bad things and looking exceptionally beautiful while doing them. :)

The first murder that started it all – pretty dark and disturbing. The vid is not subbed, but there is not much talking there and it’s understandable without subtitles.
Here is Nam Gyu Man’s reaction when some poor woman blocked his way on the road. Again not subbed, but understandable without subtitles.
This is the scene where he goes off on his secretary Soo Beom. Soo Beom is Nam Gyu Man’s high school friend, who now works for him and who has to clean up his messes and suffer his anger outbursts like the one in this vid. I admit that I headcanon Soo Beom as being obsessively and unhealthily in love with Nam Gyu Man, and that being the reason he stayed so loyal to Gyu Man for so long despite all the abuse. Also because Nam Goong Min has really great chemistry with his male costars in all the dramas I watched so far, and this one is no exception. :)
In this vid Nam Gyu Man orders Soo Beom to kill an inconvenient witness and Soo Beom refuses saying “I can’t do it. I can do about anything, but I just can’t kill someone.” Gyu Man doesn’t take it well of course.
And when Gyu Man slaps him, Soo Beom begs him “Just hit me instead. If that’s going to make you feel better, just hit me. But don’t kill people anymore.”
I found out that the whole drama is on youtube, too. Here’s the link. It’s the official version with English subtitles.

I say this to myself every time I watch him on my screen. :) And Beautiful Gong Shim is very cute and funny. It also makes me quite emotional at times, because right now after 9 episodes I'm so invested in the main characters' well-being. :)

And Gong Shim is my favorite female character in all Kdramas I've watched so far. She’s quirky without being annoying, sweet and trusting without being irritatingly naïve, optimistic and generally adorable. Exactly the kind of character to watch when RL is hard. 😊
