Work is unfortunately still exhausting. I have to do something about that, but I don’t really know what. I will talk to my boss, but I don’t have much hope that it will change anything. I don’t want to quit, for my different reasons, but who knows, it might turn out to be my only option.
Thankfully RL besides work is rather good. Heat wave ended, we’re all healthy and I’m finally fully vaccinated.
And after hard day at work I cheer myself up by reading Vincenzo fanfic, listening to 2PM’s latest album on repeat, and watching dramas. :)
I finished The Rebel a week ago.
More with major spoilers below.
The last 10-15 minutes were all about propaganda again, and it circled back to being more amusing than irritating for me. And I fast-forwarded through most of it. And only later while reading reviews I realized that apparently it was supposed to be ambiguous about Zhu Yizhen’s return. Ok, I guess I can see that, but I didn’t really care. Because I will never forgive the drama for killing Lan Xinjie. Lin Nansheng shouldn’t have asked her to do that and it’s his fault that she died. I so didn’t care about his happy ending.
On the less serious note I will also never forgive the drama for depriving me of seeing Wang Shi’an dying on screen, and just mentioning his death in a brief comment later. :)
And when I had maybe the last three episodes of The Rebel to watch I started Arthdal Chronicles – a Korean fantasy drama with Song Joong Ki. It’s fantastic and I love it. I love it so much that I already watched 16 episodes and I have only two left. There will be the second season, probably not until 2022, but still I’m so happy about it.

I admit that it was a bit too brutal for me sometimes and I had to fast-forward through a few scenes. But it isn't relentlessly dark. I finished it yesterday and I want the 2nd season now, now, now. Unfortunately I will have to wait a while. :)
