I’m very in love right now. Gun is seriously so, so good in the dual role of twins who have a very special and powerful connection in Not Me. I re-watched episodes 9-14 more than once. Or rather I re-watched all the Black scenes more than once. :)
I already liked Gun as White, and I enjoyed the rest of the drama, too. But then in the 9th episode Black woke up from his coma and he marched straight into my heart. And I fell completely in love with him and with Gun’s acting right there. He is so amazing. He’s completely different as Black. White and Black look the same, they were similar clothes and they have the same haircut, but you can clearly see that Black is a different person – that cold look in his eyes, his body language, the way he speaks. It’s beautiful to watch.
Black is violent, aggressive and angry at the world. And very protective of his brother. It’s fascinating to me that despite them being twins and Black being only three minutes older they have this dynamic since childhood of a tough, protective older brother and a vulnerable and weak younger brother. White even calls his twin “Phi” or “P’Black”.
Complicated and deeply loving sibling relationships are one of my favorite things in fiction, and Black and White’s relationship is like tailor-made for me. I read all even half-way decent fics on AO3 tagged “Black & White” at least twice.
Here have a mini picspam of Black being hot and mostly angry (apart from the last pic when he is smiling at his brother, aka the only person Black ever smiles at :)).

I really wanted to watch something else Gun did. At first I thought about Theory of Love, but everything I’ve read about it made it sound like very much not my thing. So I started The Gifted – a supernatural thriller (and not BL) about a school with a "Gifted Program" that holds a class for a handful of "special" students that were chosen by the school administrator. Each student has a different power and they have to learn how to deal with it and learn how to avoid negative consequences. And you know what? I love it. It’s an ensemble drama, so Gun’s character Punn had one episode focused on him and he is more a supporting character in the rest of the episodes. But I got very invested in most of the main characters so I wasn’t bothered by the lack of Gun’s scenes. :)
It has 13 episodes and I have only the last two left to watch. But there is the sequel called The Gifted: Graduation, so that’s what I will be watching next. Both dramas are available officially on Youtube with English subs. The playlist for The Gifted is here.
