Midnight Museum episodes 3-4

I love this drama. It’s so weird and unpredictable, and so entertaining. And of course still super slashy. I ask myself at least once an episode “are they really sure it’s not BL?” 😉

I mean, watch this short scene (it’s not very spoilery), and tell me you haven’t seen a scene like this countless times as the beginning of a romance? Tell me that it’s not love and longing in Khatha’s eyes when he looks at Dome, while romantic music plays in the background. 😊

Spoilers below.

Khatha has a habit of staring intently at Dome while he’s unconscious, and then look away or walk away when he notices that Dome is waking up. He’s so afraid of being caught caring about Dome, aww… 😊 It already happened twice.

And when in episode 4 Dome is possessed, yet again, by an evil artifact, and almost kills Khatha, Khatha tries to make him free himself from the possession by saying: “Come back to me”. And it works!

I ship them so hard. I hope there will be fanfic.

And I thought that this was a straightforward supernatural drama, but Dome’s visions make me wonder if there’s also something more there. Is Dome an alien? Is he a god? Is he some other mystical being? I don’t know yet. But I’m sure I’ll have fun finding out.

Hee, that clip is so sweepingly romantic, with the music too, but I couldn't help laughing at the way the guy who was looking around kept so obviously not looking at the camera. He even looks up, but not across. I was like, "There could be a giant neon sign pointing to him right here, and you'd never see it!" (Sorry! Inappropriate humour is inappropriate.)

Oops, I hope I didn't distract you from the longing and romanticism! /o\ (That "avoiding looking at the camera" thing is such a standard tv and film convention that I don't usually think about it; it just stands out sometimes when people are earnestly searching -- absolutely no slight intended against the actors here or the show! /dork
