Midnight Museum episodes 7-8
Still so good and so entertaining. But apparently it’s ending the next week – so it will be only 10 episodes. Even though mydramalist page previously said 15 episodes.
Spoilers below.
Episode 7
We finally find out Khatha’s backstory and how he met Chan. And aww they gave each other their names. That’s so sweet. Of course it ends tragically with Khatha being responsible for Chan burning at the stake for being a witch. So much angst, so much pining and guilt. I love it.
Also of course – they are not brothers by blood. Khatha calls them brothers because they are both orphans and alone in the world when they meet for the first time.
And when Khatha sees Chan for the first time in 1820 Chan is wearing a basketball cap. So I don’t know, it seems as maybe Chan is Dome who will time travel to the past soon?
Episode 8
Dome if trapped in the Limbo and imagines a version of Khatha to keep him company. And Dome's version of Khatha is sweet and perky, and keeps looking at Dome with adoration in his eyes. I said aww a lot when I was watching their scenes.
Also this: “Think about the person that you are longing for.”
And Dome of course thinks about Khatha. Seriously, how is it not BL? 😊
Thankfully there are already a few good fics. I hope this fandom will grow and there will be more after the finale. And if not it will be a perfect fandom for Yuletide.
