The Jungle

Episode 5 was pretty good and very entertaining. Mostly because Nanon was wonderful as expected.

More with spoilers below.
He looks beautiful dressed all in black, and he has great chemistry with Mild playing Nithan. And I love Nithan a lot, too. She’s adorable and straightforward and she doesn’t take any shit from Nannam. Who’s instantly smitten with her, even though he doesn’t want to admit it for a long time.

And fuck yeah, Hunter, being so ruthless with a journalist that tried to infiltrate his secret club. Please, make Hunter a mastermind and a villain, show, please.

But wow, episode 6 was like catnip for me. I’m officially in love with this drama. 😊

Spoilers here, too.
Codependent twins with tragic past, who are ready to die for each other or kill for each other? Sign me up. When Nanfah grabs the barrel of the gun Nannam is holding and presses it to his forehead and says “Shoot me, so I’ll know you chose that women over me”... ♥ ♥ ♥ Damn, I admit I ship them a little. 😊 I love Nithan and her and Nannam are a cute couple, and I like their happy ending, but that’s canon. I still want Nannam/Nanfah fics so much, I hope there will be at least a few.

I also finally watched Long Time No See. And it was fine – good chemistry, good acting, nice dose of angst and dark themes, and a happy ending. But I didn’t really connected emotionally with it, and I don’t feel fannish about it.

And here is the official trailer for Dangerous Romance. It’s GMMTV’s new drama with Chimon and Perth. And it looks good? I like Chimon, he’s a good actor, but I didn’t care for his and Perth’s secondary pairing in Never Let Me Go, so I wasn’t really interested in this drama before, but I kinda am now. There is class difference, rich boy/poor boy romance, and a lot of angst and drama. Could be fun. I think I’ll watch at least the first two episodes. It starts airing on August 18th.

One more thing – they presented four main character teasers for the 2nd season of Arthdal Chronicles yesterday. I know the 1st season didn’t have good reviews and many people didn’t like it, but I loved it, so I’m very excited for this, even without Song Joong Ki. You can see all the teasers here on Dramabeans.
