My bookmarks start being too unwieldy again, which means that I’m making a post with recs, so I can delete at least a few of them.

But first disappointing BL news - A Man Who Defies the World of BL 3 is already out in Japan, but the distribution is exclusive to the Japanese streaming service called Lemino, and the drama is not currently available to international audiences. :( I saw people mentioning making funsubs, but I couldn’t find all the episodes funsubbed, so I can’t watch it for now. I hope Gaga or VIKI will pick it up soon.

And now let’s move on to recs and other happy things.

This is an adorable fanvid about Do Yoon from Jazz For Two - lil boo thang

And here is the playlist for Jazz For Two OST with a few lovely songs.

And I wrote and posted a little Do Yoon/Joo Ha fic:

Kisses in the rain (1226 words)
Fandom: 재즈처럼 | Jazz For Two (TV)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Seo Doyoon/Song Jooha
Characters: Song Jooha, Seo Doyoon, Han Taeyi, Yoon Seheon
Additional Tags: Boys In Love, Feelings and Realizations, Kissing
Summary: Joo Ha is really bad at feelings, and at talking about them, too. But he tries, and it all works out well. :) And there is a lot of kissing in the rain.

I also watched two more episodes of The King Loves. And while I was watching them I realized that the actor playing my favorite beautiful killer looked somewhat familiar to me, so I probably saw him somewhere before. I checked and yes, I did see him – as the lead in the BL drama The Director Who Buys Me Dinner. I watched it last year and it was a cute and surprisingly, for a Korean BL, angsty fantasy romance with reincarnation and a boss-employee relationship. It was enjoyable, but ultimately forgettable, so I decided to re-watch it. And of course now, when I’m invested in one of the lead actors, I like it so much more. 😊

I also found a lovely and spoilery fanvid for The Director Who Buys Me Dinner - Lover.

And here are two kpop recs:

DKZ 2nd Mini Album ′REBOOT′ with five cute songs.

Love Me Or Leave Me - Dreamcatcher’s cover of DAY6 song. It’s wonderful and very femslashy. If I have a bias in Dreamcatcher it’s Dami, and she looks and sounds so great here.

Last but not least: Affair – a pilot trailer for another Thai GL drama about a romance with class difference between two girls who grew up together. But one of them comes from a very rich family, and the other is the maid’s daughter.

I have writer’s block. I still haven’t done anything with that new SCI fic which is in dire need of editing. I have a few fics started that I would love to work on. I have 800 words of a Vincenzo fic, 200 words of an Under the Skin fic, and a few vague plot bunnies for Cutie Pie fics (I’m still bewildered that this is the next BL drama I got obsessed with; seriously self, why? 😉). But every time I sit down to write it feels like my brain is suddenly completely empty. It will pass, I know, but for now it is so frustrating.

As for drama watching this week - I finished Thai Tunnel. It was very good and I loved it almost as much as I loved the Korean original.

I also watched Move to Heaven – a relatively short (just 10 episodes) Korean drama about a young man with Asperger syndrome who works with his father in the trauma cleaning family business called Move to Heaven. Their job is to clean up and move stuff of the deceased. When the father dies suddenly from the heart attack, Han Geu Roo has to deal with his never seen before uncle Cho Sang Gu moving in to be his caretaker.

It’s a wonderfully written and beautifully acted tender and poignant story about life, death, family and friendship. It made me cry at least once an episode, and it warmed my heart.

Han Geu Roo is played by Tang Jun Sang, whom I saw and loved first in Crash Landing On You, and then in Racket Boys. He is such an amazing actor despite being so young. It’s really hard to believe that he’s just 19 years old. I for sure will watch every drama he will do next.

Cho Sang Gu is played by Lee Je Hoon, whom I saw in Signal before. I liked him in Signal, but I fell completely in love with him while watching this drama. He’s fantastic. It makes me want to watch Taxi Driver just for him. It is on Netflix here, but I’ve read that it’s very dark and grim, and I’m not sure if I’m in the mood for something like that right now. Maybe I’ll try the 1st episode this weekend and then we’ll see.

And I’m going to end this post with two song recs.

Park Jae Chan from Semantic Error is a member of the South Korean boy band group DKZ, so I listened to a few of their songs and I liked them a lot. Here are my favorites:

Lupin (the stage version)

Cupid (the official MV)
