As always spoilers behind the cut
Episode 13
We got adorable domestic scene for Tang Yi and Shao Fei with cooking and bickering.
We got Tang Yi’s backstory (aww, poor baby Tang Yi...) and a little bit of Hong Ye’s backstory. So Dao Yi is at least about 12-15 years older than her. I think he’s supposed to be around 20 when they meet Hong Ye, who looks no more than 8.
We got cute and funny scene of Zhao Zi googling “What a man should do when another man declared his love to him”. LOL
And then he asks Shao Fei for advice. But when Shao Fei tells him he was the one who said it first Zhao Zi says dejectedly “Forget it. It has no reference value.” He is the cutest. :DDD
Episode 14
I read spoilers so I was prepared for a creepy sexual assault scene. Luckily it wasn’t long, but I still fast-forwarded through it.
Birthday scene was perfect and adorable with cake and hot kissing. Seriously, this was a really great, long kiss. And the way they looked at each other with so much love in their eyes. So sweet...
We got another tidbit of Tang Yi’s backstory – he got a wooden music box from his biological mother, the same as the box that Shao Fei got from his mentor. So I think it’s pretty safe to say that Shao Fei’s mentor Li Chen is Tang Yi’s biological mother. I think they also suggest that Chen Wen Hao is maybe Tang Yi’s father?
Dao Yi finally decided to stop repressing his feelings and confessed his love for Hong Ye. There was hugging and kissing and tears. Hong Ye and Dao Yi got their happy ending. Yay! One couple sorted, two couples still waiting for a satisfactory resolution (happy ending, too, please :D)
I slightly worried because there are only 6 episodes left and they have a lot of things to resolve – the mystery of Tang Yi’s parentage, what happened four years ago, what’s going to happen with Tang Yi/Shao Fei relationship since in these episodes they brought up the problem of them being on the opposite sides of the law. And of course the further development of Jack/Zhao Zi. So many things, so little time. :)
