That was wonderful and I loved it. All of it. Mostly I just want to squee and clap my hands with happiness. ♥ ♥ ♥
We get confirmation that Li Chen is Tang Yi’s mother and Chen Wen Hao is his father. I enjoyed flashbacks to Chen Wen Hao and Tang Guo Dong’s youth. And I really enjoyed mob boss Tang Yi in that talk with Chen Wen Hao, with all those thinly veiled threats the made to each other.
We also get Tang Yi being worried and impatient and missing Shao Fei – all those messages, first angry “Don’t ever call me back or return my message!” at night. That part when he tosses and turns in his bed, and then hides his head under the cover and kicks at it angrily and screams with frustration was so hilarious. :)
And then the next day the message is “Shao Fei, you disappeared for the whole day. It’s okay if you don’t answer my call. Could you at least send me a message to let me know you’re safe and sound.” I love that Hong Ye heard it and then basically gave them her blessing. Awwww.... That was such a lovely scene with the two of them.
But I find Tang Yi’s worrying and constant messaging to be perfectly understandable in this situation. I don’t read it as him just missing his boyfriend. Shao Fei is a cop and he already landed in the hospital once with very serious injuries. I’m sure that in the back of his mind Tang Yi is frightened about this very scenario repeating again.
And finally Jack, I love everything about Jack – his scenes with Chen Wen Hao, but most of all of course Jack/Zhao Zi scene, which was beautiful and adorable and sweet. A lunch box full of love – Jack is so cheesy. :DDD
And we see that Jun Wei learned his lesson about putting his hands on Zhao Zi in Jack’s presence. When Jack glared at him, he quickly removed his arm from Zhao Zi’s shoulders and was all “I see your lunch is sorted, so I’m going, bye.” :) I love fics from minor character’s POV and I would love to read Trapped fic from Jun Wei’s POV.
Jack looked so sexy in that red jacket. And I think Zhao Zi agreed. I just wish we saw more of Zhao Zi processing Jack’s “I’m attracted to you”, because he’s clearly already so smitten here. He’s smiling and flirting and looking at Jack with such a loving gaze.
Jack: “You’re worried about me?”
Zhao Zi: “I can’t be?”
Jack: “I promise you... Before I get your answer I’ll live my life well.”
Zhao Zi: “Then it’s better not give you my answer now.”
Jack: “You seriously want me to live forever?”
Zhao Zi:”I do not!”
Jack: “You do. You don’t wanna give me the answer, because you want me to live as long as possible. Shorty, you’re into me, right?”
Zhao Zi: “My ass!”
LOL That was beautiful. These two are perfect together and I love them so, so much.
And if the spoilers are true and we’re getting Tang Yi/Shao Fei bed scene and Jack/Zhao Zi kiss in the episode 16 I will die and the next post about Trapped will be written by my ghost. ;)
