I’m going to the office on Monday. Some things I can’t do at home, since I need access to a few specialized programs.
The current situation here doesn’t look good – 154 confirmed new cases in the last 24 hours. But our region is still the one with the least number of confirmed cases.
In some ways it was nice to work at home for these last 4 days, and I felt safer. But I really prefer to work at the office, and after 8 hours I want to leave my work at the office and don’t bring it home. Also I don’t use public transport, I walk to work and from work. It’s around 25 minutes’ walk one way. I’m not an outdoor person and I didn’t think I would ever say that, but I miss those walks. I guess I just miss my everyday routine.
But enough about depressing RL stuff. Let’s talk about more pleasant things.
I signed up for 520 Day Reverse Guardian Exchange. A few days ago I made a decision that I would sit this one out. But I had fun last year and writing fanfic is a good distraction, and it’s a low minimum exchange, so yesterday I changed my mind and signed up.

I almost finished my next Guardian fic. It just needs an ending and one scene in the middle. Like I’ve said writing fic = good distraction.
And now a random rec:
Dusk in Rio by Super Cat
It’s a post “The Tale of the Body Thief” fic. It’s about Lestat, Louis and David establishing boundaries in Rio.
It’s my absolute favorite Vampire Chronicles fic. I have it downloaded, but I thought it was lost from the internet forever. But it’s not and I’m always happy to rec it.

yesterday I changed my mind and signed up.
Me, too! I signed up on the last day, dithering all week, because I really did want to sit it out. But then I didn't! Lets hope it'll be fun!
