Fannish accomplishments

I decided to take part in Guardian exchange on sid_guardian. Now I’m waiting for the requests post and feeling in turns nervous and excited. :)


I bought the ticket for Avengers Endgame for April 25.


I also decided to post some of my old fics on AO3. I started with a short Banlieue 13 fic written as a birthday gift for my friend Czeri 10 years ago. Banlieue 13 (English title “District 13”) is a French action movie made in 2004. There was a sequel in 2009 - Banlieue 13 – Ultimatum. Czeri introduced these movies to me and I really enjoyed them – there are a lot of pretty people and a lot of amazing and beautifully filmed parkour scenes.

It’s a tiny and old fandom and I’m really curious if someone still reads fics in it.

Don't tell me. I've just finished reading the offers - and I don't know what to chooses, there are too many possibilities, argh... ;)

I signed up! Thankfully, there were exactly 3 people whose offers grabbed my brain, so picking was easy. Now I can just wait a few days and mournfully watch how my offer stays on the list, which is obviously proof that zero people want to get something from me (instead of an indication that there are 0-2 people who want something like that)...

Ah, yes, that's one of the things that make me nervous. :) But at least I manged to make my requests last night. It means that I went to sleep way past my usual bedtime, but it was time well spent, because I made the requests that I really wanted. And two of those offers are not on the list today, so yay, I made it in time. :D

Same! Right down to two of my requests not being on the list today. Even the one I thought would be more niche got 3 requests already! Ahh I am excite.
